It was warm. Like an electric blanket kind of warm. Only it was actually Will spooning Kat under the silk sheets and duvet. Last night was a new experience for both of them, but neither had any regrets. Kat turned around and affectionately wrapped her arms around Will's naked back.
'You were definitely telling the truth when you said it would be a night to remember,' she whispered. Will smiled, and looked down at her bare chest, and then moved his gaze up to her lips.
'Have I ever lied to you?' he teased, pulling her in for close hug. She rubbed her hands along his spine and placed love marks on the side of his neck. Minutes went by with no one saying a word, just the sounds of kisses and small moans filled the room.
Finally, Will seductively whispered into Kat's left ear, 'We don't have any plans today, but I will gladly do a repeat of last night if you ask me to.'
This triggered the little hairs on Kat's ear to stand up. She enjoyed last night, very much, and there was nothing more in the world that she would rather do right now. 'Will, please,' she softly spoke. 'Let's do it again.'
The silk sheets were then pulled back over the top, and Will passionately kissed Kat. She clutched his arms tightly, as the heat and sweat made his skin stick to hers.
By lunchtime, the pair had both cleaned up nicely and were dressed for a special occasion. Will had asked Kat during their morning if she wanted to go on a lunch date and without hesitation, she agreed.
'Okay, I want you to close your eyes please,' he smiled, while keeping both hands on the steering wheel. Kat placed each hand over each eye and closed them shut.
'Don't worry, there's only a few more minutes until we get there.'
Will pulled the car up onto the kerb and yanked back the handbrake. 'I'll come around the other side and help you get out, but don't peek,' he laughed.
She smiled back and nodded her head, with her hands still over her eyes. Will held her waist with one arm, and had his other hand intertwined with hers.
'Where are we going?' she giggled, trying to hold in her laughter. He didn't reply, but instead, he kissed her cheek and carried on walking.
'Okay,' he marveled, 'open your eyes.'
Kat slowly removed her hands away from her face and blinked. It was bright, and her eyes had to re-adjust to the new surroundings. Once she regained her eyesight, she glimpsed forward. They were in a private room at a bar, which was decorated with dim lights and candles. In front of her was a little wooden table accompanied by two large seat cushions on either side. There was an ice bucket on top filled with some expensive champagne, and two wine glasses sat beside it.
'This is beautiful,' she cried, with tears moulding in her eyes. She walked over and carefully picked up a shiny wine glass. Celebrating Kat & Will , it read, with silver cursive writing on the rim. 'You planned all of this in a few hours?'
'Of course not, I've been planning this first date for a while now,' he grinned. 'If we're being completely honest, I started planning this before we were even together.'
Kat walked back to him. 'You're amazing.'
He guided her over to the pillow on the floor, and took a seat in front of her view. 'Now I have taken a risky guess but I think you'll like this drink,' he smiled, while popping off the cork. The whole time his eyes never left hers. He lifted up one of the custom made wine glasses and tilted the bottle of Cristal. The fizzing liquid drizzled slowly into the glass, and bubbles toppled up on the top. Kat accepted the expensive beverage and winked at her lover.
'Thank you,' she replied.
The lunch date soon turned into an evening date as Will and Kat flirted and shared platters.
'Hey, could you please pass me a strawberry from that bowl,' he asked, pointing to the fruit behind her. Kat nodded, and turned to grab out a piece. He accepted it with a flirtatious glance, 'Merci,' and handed her an envelope.
'What's this?' she smiled, one eyebrow raised. She tore open the packet and lifted out a small rectangular piece of paper. Destination; Paris. Kat covered her mouth in shock, 'Is this what I think it is?'
Will smiled, 'If you're thinking it's a plane ticket to Paris, then you're correct. Would you like to go there with me?'
Kat squealed, and moved over to him. 'Yes, yes, yes!' she exclaimed, 'You really are one in a million. Thank you.'
Before she could say anything else, Will's arms engulfed her and his mouth hovered just inches away from her quivering lips. These actions gave Kat emotions that she didn't even know she was capable of feeling. He kissed her gently. And like every other kiss they had placed on each other, it was passionate and full of love. Kat loved his taste, it was something she could never get enough of. His tongue carried the residue of champagne and his warm breath against her lips made her nerves accelerate wildly. Kat gently slipped her tongue into Will's mouth and he groaned softly. The slight stubble on his chin rubbed against her soft skin and she tangled her hands into his blonde hair. Without breaking the kiss, Will laid her down onto the pillows and Kat moved her hands to cup his jaw.
Good thing I booked out this room for all night, Will thought.
Midnight soon came around and Kat found her head resting on Will's chest. One of his arms cradled around her, and his left hand gently stroked her leg.
'I'm so happy we met,' he whispered, still caressing her.
'Me too.' She got up and faced him, 'I love you.'
