"Your Move" ||Hoseok FF

Chapter xx

"Alright, so whaddaya need?" Y/N asks as she joins the other boys.
"I'm... having a little trouble with the making the dance, could you maybe help out a little?" Hoseok asks sheepishly.
"Yeah, so what concept are you aiming for?"
"Something tough and manly and strong y'know?"
"Men..." Y/N mutters to herself mentally facepalming, "How about do something unexpected? I mean since its an all male dance, of course all the teams are going to focus on hip hop, right? So maybe do something slightly different."
"You're a genius!" Jimin leaps in excitement patting y/n's head.

Hoseok who was standing there with his fist suddenly clenching as he tries to hold back the grudge.

Its been a few hours and the members are all resting on break. Hoseok decided he was going to go out for some air outside.

"Hey Y/N?"

Y/N hummed in response as she turned around to Hoseok.

"Mind if you join me?"

Y/N slowly moved her gaze to Yoongi who nodded giving her the signal to 'be-the-good-partner'.

"Of course." Y/N answered as she got up and grabbed jacket and followed Hoseok out the door.

When Hoseok closed the door he turned to Y/N with a smile, "Follow me!" He whispered then ran up the stairs.

"What?" Y/N had no idea where she was headed but followed anyway.

Y/N was right behind Hoseok and the sound of the feets climbing up the steps echoed loudly.

Hoseok made a sudden stop which almost made Y/N bump into him.

"Here." Hoseok sighed before he opened the door and there they were on the roof of the building.

"You brought me all the way here?" Y/N asks as she was still exhausted from the stairs.

"Yup!"

"We could've taken the elevator, you know?"

"But that would've been boring."  Hoseok shrugged.

Y/N finally got her heart rate and breathing stable and normal again, "So, why'd you bring me here?"

"I uhh... I wanna try being friends with you again."

Y/N's eyes widened as she looked to Hoseok in surprise, "But... that was years ago."

Hoseok nodded as he understood, "It's never too late to startover."

Y/N approached Hoseok standing closer to him, "For the past three years... You did a lot Hoseok. We said unimaginable things to each other. I've put you down constantly just the way you do to me."

Hoseok looks down in a more regretful expression as I he was about to apologise.

"Look, I-I'm-"

"I'm Y/N, nice to meet you."

Hoseok quickly lifted his head in shock and saw Y/N holding her hand out to shake with his and the small smile that was peeking out of her now gentle eyes. It was all like a memory.

10 Years Ago

"Shit shit shit. She's coming!" Hoseok hissed as he looked away and tried to act natural.

"Hello."

Hoseok looked up and saw a gentle smile looking right back at him, "Hey." Hoseok smiled back.
"You're from school, right?" Y/N asked and Hoseok nodded.
Her smile grew as she held out hand with a gentle smile, "I'm Y/N, nice to meet you."
"I'm Hoseok." he greeted in return as he held her hand and shook it gently.

Present

"I'm Hoseok." He greeted back shaking hands with Y/N, "Wanna see something cool?"
"What?"
"You're looking at it." Hoseok grinned shamelessly.
"I've seen better." Y/N stuck her tongue out.
"Yah! Why you gotta be like that!" Hoseok pouted as he began chasing after Y/N.
As Hoseok was chasing after y/n he leapt as a lion towards its prey, jumping on top of Y/N.

The laughing pair rolled a few times until Y/N was on top of Hoseok and their noses were just less than inches away. 

It took Y/N at least 4 seconds to jump off of Hoseok.

"Hey Hobi?"

"Yeah, y/n?" Hoseok responded as calmly as possible since it has been 3 years since y/n has ever called him 'Hobi'.

"We're... friends now, right?"

"Of course! I really missed you as my friend. I only started arguments with you just so I could spend more time with you."

"Me too." Y/N chuckled sheepishly.

"I'm sorry for what I did to you, y/n. You really didn't have to forgive me after all that."

"Nah! I was stupid. I shouldn't have snapped anyway."

"Yeah, you were stupid."

"Hey!" Y/N chuckled as she punched the laughing Hoseok in the arm.

"Hey so since we're friends again, can we make a duet? Just for fun."

"We should definitely do that!" Y/N agreed excitedly.

"Yea- oh crap." Hoseok dropped from 100 to 0 in just that millisecond, "The boys! We gotta get back to practising!"

The two leaders raced back down the stairs and rushed into the practice room. There they practised more until sundown.
