Chapter xix

Y/Ns POV:

I stayed in my own corner for some reason and I tried to focus at my own reflection in the mirror. Behind me, I saw Hoseok roll his eyes.

"Are you germ-a-phobic or something?"

"What?" I furrowed my brows at him.

"We gotta come up with a theme and choreography for the next round."

"Well, we don't have enough details about the next round."

"Then I'll call Mr K for info." Hoseok says as he pulls out his phone.

•Hoseok•

It was obvious she looked awkward, but she could've just joined me instead of staying at some stupid corner. Oh well.
Mr K answered the call,

"Let me guess, you disappeared from the hotel to get to the new dancehall, hm?"

"Uh maybe..." I grinned in a cheeky tone, "Y/N is here too."

"You two are really something, you know that?"

"So what's the update on the upcoming round?" I changed the subject quickly.

"Round Two, Each team are to perform with only 5 of their male members. Three teams will be eliminated with four to the next round."

"Oh okay, thanks Mr K."

"Don't let me down, Hobi."

I ended the phone call and returned to y/n.

"Well?"

"We gotta perform between five male members."

"Who should we choose?"

Hoseok shrugs, "Let's wait til they-"

"WOAH! THIS PLACE IS COOL!" Jimin exclaims as he startled the two captains.

The rest of the dancers followed Jimin into the hall.

"Hey guys!" Y/N greeted, "We need 5 male dancers for the next round, any volunteers?"

Hoseok, Jimin, Jin, Taehyung and Jungkook rose their hand as Namjoon quickly turned away and Yoongi bent over as he sat in his spot on the floor.

"Well then, its settled!" Hoseok says.

With that, Namjoon left to buy snacks, Yoongi sat with y/n and Sasha and Jade chat together.

•Y/N•

"So, howse the hotel? I hear its massive." Y/N leans forward resting her chin in the palms of her hand with her elbows on her knees.

"Yep, Mr K has definitely spoiled us this time. How is your old home? You miss it?"

"I really did. My parents were in tears when I first came to their door." Y/N chuckles.

A silence then rolled in between the two until-

"So before we came, what were you and Hoseok doing?" Yoongi asked bluntly, "Were you the first one here?"

"No, unfortunately." Y/N groaned a little, "I mean, I was hoping I'd be the first but yeah."

Yoongi nodded as he had a thought in his head,

"Did you... Notice anything about him?"

Y/N shook her head, "Just the same annoying asshole I know and hate."

"You know Y/N, I really thought you were the one trying to work together with Hoseok. But now, you really just don't want to help as a leader."

Y/N was hit offended but she did understand.
Maybe he's right. I haven't been cooperating like a leader should be.

"I'm sorry, Y/N but someone had to say it. Your members have tried to get you two work as partners but maybe you're the one that's not helping."

"I-I see." Y/N nods slowly looking down, "I'm really sorry I made you feel this way about my leadership and I do thank you for stepping up to tell me upfront. I will..." Y/N slightly shivers, "I will do my best to work with him as a good partner."

•Hoseok•

"Uh so let's do a hard hip hop concept since its an all boys performance." Hoseok began planning.

The others members nodded.

Hoseok began to find it hard trying to plan out the dance moves on his own as he secretly wanted y/n to help him out.
No, what is he thinking?
He doesn't need y/n to help him out! He can manage one stupid dance himself.
Right?

"Uh... Hyung?" The puppy-eye Jungkook called a little.

Hoseok quickly blinked out of his deep thoughts, "Hm? Uh- what?"

"Are you okay? You seem..." Taehyung asks slowly.

"What? Y-yeah, I'm fine!"

"You think maybe... y/n can-"

"No! Uh... I got this, don't worry!" Hoseok snapped in frustration.

"Hyung, I thought you were the one trying to work well with y/n but..." Jimin says.

Hoseok turns to them in a concerned or confused look.

"What he's trying to say is..." Taehyung says stepping in, "You were a great leader, hyung. But you were. We've been trying to get you and y/n to learn how to work together but you two don't seem to be good in that partnership."

Hoseok nodded looking down.

"I'm...sorry I made you guys feel that way. I will learn how to cooperate with y/n." Hoseok glanced to y/n who was talking Yoongi, "No matter how unbearable she become." Hoseok chuckled, "Hey Y/N! I uh..."

Jimin elbows at Hoseok who was hesitant.

"Could you help out coming up with the dance?"

Y/Ns eyes widened in shock as Hoseok has never asked for her help in a long time.

"Sure!" Y/N jumps up to her feet and joins them.

"Get in there, idiots." Yoongi muttered to himself.

*THUMP!*

Everyone jumped up turning around to the sudden noise where Namjoon stood surrounded by food and drinks dropped across the floor.

"Don't worry! Third times a charmer." Namjoon says.

"Third time?" Jin says surprised.
