12:37 AM

{Hoseok}

Finally giving notice to the time, the male leader saw nothing but exhaustion and perspiration from his team members.
"Let's call it a day, guys. Thanks for all your efforts." Hoseok announces.

The exhausted Jimin weakly lifted a fist upwards, in the air as he grabs his bag along with the others.

Everyone took a second to catch their breaths by pulling out water bottles or sitting on the floor with their legs scattering across the floor.

Well- all except one.

Hoseok was about to join the others who were already out the door when he noticed y/n who didn't seem to be leaving.

Aish this woman is stubborn again...

"Y/N, we're calling it a day. You can rest."

"Uh y-yeah I know," she stuttered as she went to her bag, "Uh you guys go ahead, I'll uh... I'll close up in a sec."

Bullshit.

But Hoseok chose not to argue due to heavy exhaustion, "You better be out of here in 5 minutes, okay?"

"Sure." she exhales.

Hoseok nods then heads for the door, "I mean it, y/n."

"Got it."

+The Next Morning+

Where the hell is she?!

Hoseok read the time on his phone, 11:17am. This was their last day before Grand Finale. The final battle against the one and only, Dancing Extreme. He couldn't wait to see the look on their faces once he gets the trophy in his hands.

"Hobi?" Namjoon's voice snapped the group leader out of his thoughts. He hummed in response.

"Practice was meant to start four hours a go."

"I know that, you know that, but y/n doesn't."

Suddenly, the door slammed open, revealing the female group leader, breathless, drenched in sweat. She stumbled in, closing the door behind her.

"You're late." Hoseok spoke lowly, slightly annoyed.

"Yeah... sorry. I-I'll be sure to catch up."

"No need. We waited."

"What?" y/n widened her eyes in shock, "b-but why would you waste four hours?"

"Why didn't you answer my calls?"

"I... I was busy."

"Oh you were busy? Okay, Problem solved." Hoseok scoffed with a sarcastic tone.

"Can we start?" y/n rolled her eyes as she wiped the sweat from her cheeks with a towel.

"We'll discuss this later." Hoseok replies after a short silence.

Despite the amount of movement in the hall, the room has never felt so cold. The two leaders didn't say another word to each other throughout practice hours.

+That Morning+

(y/n)

"Sweetie you can't risk it. I know you've been working so hard but its time you give these jazz hands a rest."

"I'm fine! I can handle it." y/n defended. She couldn't give up now. Grand Finale is tomorrow and there's no stopping it.

"You might hurt yourself-" her mother tried again.

"It is more painful to see my team go down." y/n say with eyes so stern, "I promise, after tomorrow, I will stop."

"The doctor wouldn't want to hear about this." her mother sighed.

"He doesn't have to. Just two more days. I can manage."

Y/N's mother let out a faint sigh before giving her daughter smile, "Fine, but ONLY two days and DON'T exhaust yourself."

Y/N had another appointment with the doctor earlier that morning. He told her to take extra care of her own safety.

Y/N read her watch that read 10:57am and dashed out the door, finding the best cover story to use on the nosy Hoseok.
