Chapter xxiv

Dance Studio

"S...Sup." I started awkwardly as y/n just stood there right in front of me with the same expression she left with earlier.

"Hey." She replied ever so bluntly. As if she was waiting for the one thing I knew I had to do. An apology.

"So... I-I was thinking... You know uhm.... Well..."

"Look Hoseok, if you got nothing to say, I'll leave."

"No! Wait!" I let out a sigh as y/n crossed her arms waiting for me to say something right. To be honest, I just hope I'm doing the right too.

"Listen, what I did earlier really was stupid and I really shouldn't have made you feel like that... Wanna dance?"

"What?"

"Come on!" I smiled as I eagerly turned on the speakers.

Music began to play and she only stood there confused.

"What's wrong? Can't dance?" I smirked as I began to dance a little towards her. I noticed a tiny grin slowly appearing. Y/N then turned to her reflection since she decided to dance along with me.

The pair began to take turns in making more freestyle moves to the beat until they began to dance together.

The song came to an end and the pair laughed together as they were breathing heavily.

"So maybe you beat me on this one." Hoseok started, "But I'm not giving up."

"Haha give up while you can, Hobi." Y/N laughed.

"Not until you're mine." Hoseok froze to what slipped so easily.

"What?"

"N-Not until the victory is mine." Hoseok stuttered.

Y/N laughs, "Very well then."

"You know that I'm sorry, right y/n?" Hoseok asks as he sits on the floor to rest.

"I accept your apology. Oh, and don't worry TT and I are over."

"Oh, what when?" Hoseok tries to act surprised.

"A few hours ago. Can you believe he dumped me just because I'm not in his team?!"

"How could he..." Hoseok replied, "Listen y/n don't let him hurt you, okay? You're way better than he is. You're a really cool, awesome and a  strong dancer. He's an untalented rat's tail."

"Thanks Hobi." Y/N smiled, "So... How's Jade?"

"To be honest, she's worried. She really is sorry for being mad at you."

"There's no need for her to apologize, its me. I should never have overreacted."

"Well, I can talk to her for you."

"Don't worry. I'll talk to her face to face when I can."

Hoseok nods in agreement.

"Wanna work on our duet?" Y/N changed the subject.

"Thought you'd never asked." Hoseok jumps back up on his feet as he plays their duet song; DNA by Kendrick Lamar.

When the song ended, a loud applause startled the two as they jumped turning around to the rest of the team who was applauding and clearly impressed by their dance.

"DAMN YOU TWO FOR BEING AWESOME!" Taehyung exclaimed as jumped towards Y/N for a hug, "W-we thought we l-lost you" Tae sobbed out of nowhere.

"Good to see you too, Tae." Y/N awkwardly patted his back as he trembled in his sobs.

Y/N then noticed Jade who was slowly approaching towards her.
Taehyung finally let go of y/n as Jade finally walked over to y/n with a small nervous smile.

"Hey."

"Hey." Y/N replied with a smile in return, "Before you say anything, I just wanna say I'm really sorry for making you have to confront me since I was being really stupid and you know what I should never have dated that idiot and you were right about him and now I'm an idiot and-"

"Shut the hell up." Jade says as she hugs Y/N tightly, "First date will always be stupid. And I'm sorry too."

"I just... I really thought Terrell was a good guy..." Y/N mumbled as she hugged Jade back.

"Don't worry, your good guy will come." Jade replies as she glances at Hoseok.

Hoseok noticed Jade staring at him so he quickly looked away.

"I don't know, Jade. Love sounds pretty stupid anyway." Y/N says as they move from their hug.

"Don't worry. Love can be much closer to you than you think." Jade replies, glancing towards Hoseok.

"Yah! Quit it, will you?!" Hoseok exclaims.

"What are you on about?" Jade asks, acting clueless.

"You alright there, Hobi?" Y/N asks in slight concern.

"I-I'm fine... Th-Thanks." He stutters.
