"Abott"
I felt something shake my shoulder. But i couldn't be bothered opening my eyes. The pain in my head was too immense.
"Abott!" The voice was getting louder, increasing the pain. I realized it was someone shaking my shoulder, their soft touch shaking me frantically. I grunted moodily and tried to roll over but something, no a hand, stopped me. I slowly opened my eyes, blinking furiously as i adjusted to the bright light of the room.
A pair of pale lilac eyes were inches above mine. I heard a soft giggle as the eyes got further away. I then realized that whoever stood in front of me was just sitting back. In my defence, I did have an immense pain running through my forehead.
I turned to see a girl around my age sitting next to me. She was dainty, with an elvish face. She had a little nose, small pale lips and big lilac eyes that dominated her face. Her hair was wavy, around waist height and a pastel shade of lilac, to match her eyes. She had highlights of baby blue and hot pink mixed into the pale lilac. She was absolutely beautiful. And slightly familiar.
"Was that you...calling my name?" I barely managed to mumble to this girl.
"Yes, I was worried you were asleep too long." Her voice was high and cute. Jesus, this girl was perfect.
"Why was I asleep? Wait, where am I?" I looked around the room. It looked like my nurses office. But I had no reason to be there. The sharp pain that shot through my head as I looked around reminded me different. The girl frowned at me, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Are you in pain? Do you remember anything Abott?" How did she know my last name? What was happening?
"Who are you? Why am I here?" The more confused I got, the more frustrated I was which lead to more pain.
"Ally. Ally Claire. We met before, when you crashed into the back of my car this morning. You hit your head pretty hard. You managed to get to school but you passed out first lesson. Now, your'e in the nurses office, you've been asleep an hour or two. Nurse Collins told me not to let you sleep too long but I wasn't sure how long too long was"
I frowned as I processed this new information. It makes sense, my memory loss, the pain, the nurses room.
"But why are you here? No offence but you seem okay."
"Well, nobody seemed to know what was going on with you but before you fainted, you said my name. So Mr. Gibbs got an email saying I was needed at the nurses office to explain what was going on" she looked down shyly. "But you look better now, so if you want, I can go."
"No!" Wow, that sounded desperate. "I mean, I'm still pretty confused and my head hurts. I didn't know you go to this school. And I know everybody. So why don't I know you?"
"This is my first day. And I'm spending it in a nurses office with a cute guy suffering from memory loss."
"And your cars already fucked. Sorry about that" Did she just call me cute?
"Like I said before, I needed a new one anyway. You did me a favour."
We were interupted as the school nurse walked in. She knelt by my bed and examined the wound on my head.
"Yep. You look better. Go home or something." She told me boredly. Ally got up.
"Well..I better go. See you around Abott" She walked towards the door and was halfway through it when I called her back.
"Its Taylor."
