"Damn, do you really ride this piece of plastic every week?" I asked when the plane stopped shaking.

"It's the fastest way to get anywhere," JJ answered as Garcia appeared on the screen again.

"Another nanny and baby have disappeared in Los Angeles," she started. "Gina Mendes and two year old Phoebe Payton," she continued.

"Is it him?" Morgan asked.

"No doubt about it," Dave replied.

We landed safely on the ground and I was the first one out. It felt good to be on the ground again. I thought I saw Aaron smirking at me, but I ignored it.

"Alright," everyone gathered around Aaron. "Dave, Reid I want you to go to the latest crime scene," Dave and Reid nodded. "JJ and Morgan, I want you to speak to the woman who survived, Tara Rios,"  they gave each other a quick look before disappearing to their car.

"Blake, you're with me," Aaron said.

"Yes, sir," I responded with a smirk.

This was certainly going to be interesting.

We sat in the black SUV driving towards the destination that I was not yet aware of.

"We're going to the precinct to talk to the family whose daughter was just taken," Aaron said, keeping his eyes focused on the road.

"I don't know if you're aware of this, but talking to people is not really what I do best," I said. "Much less comfort them."

"Don't be ridiculous," Aaron said. "You won't speak to them, you're going to be there to observe and observe only," his voice sharpened.

I raised my eyebrows as I nodded, he had such mood swings.

"It's comforting for them to have another woman present, someone the mother can relate to," he further explained.

I scoffed, "I don't know the first thing about being a mother."

"Yes," he glanced at me, "but they don't have to know that."

When we got to the police station, the couple was already waiting for us. The mother was a mess, as expected, and the father had an arm wrapped around her, trying to stay strong enough for the both of them.

I closely observed the couple sitting in front of us, just as he had told me to. They told Aaron about Phoebe's asthma and that Gina wouldn't have enough. I wasn't really paying attention, because frankly I didn't care. They were sad for real, which made me kind of bored, to be honest.

After several minutes of questioning, we finally left the couple alone in the room.

"What do you think?" he asked while looking at the board with all the information we have so far, which was stationed in the middle of the room.

"Well, they're not lying," I sighed.

"Disappointed?" Aaron turned to face me as he raised an eyebrow.

"No, but it would be more interesting if they were," I gave him a smile.

It's been a few hours and I sat with the team, minus Morgan and JJ, by the table. They discussed how the unsub, as they called him, avoided police and how he was changing his schedule.

"But why is he keeping Phoebe?" They all turned to me in surprise as soon as the question left my mouth, since I hadn't said a word for the past hour and a half.

"I wonder what that means for Gina, will he stick to his schedule with her?" Dave asked.

"What's so special about her? Why keep her for 28 hours while the others for 24?" I continued.
