Ugh! I hate disclaimers!!! Well, I don't own PJO! There, I said it. :(

Percy's POV

I couldn't really remember our lunch conversations. When I try to remember, it all seems a bit fuzzy. I could remember two things. One? Andrew asking about the swim team tryouts. Two? Mark.... I was furious with him right now. I have liked Annabeth since i was fifteen, probably even before that, we had been through so much together and he just tries to steal her away from me.I get that she is the hottest most beautiful smartest girl at school, but Annabeth is my Wise Girl.

We are on our way to our next class. Sadly Annabeth has Architecture while i have Marine Bio. As we walk through the hallways of the school Annabeth interrupts the silence by saying, "Percy, calm down."

"What are you talking about Annabeth?" Truth be told? I really had no idea what she was talking about. She doesn't call me a Seaweed Brain for nothing.

"You keep tensing whenever we walk past a guy who glances at me. Percy, I'm not going to leave you." She said, pulling me in for a hug.

"I know. i guess i'm just a little protective."

"It's ok," she said as we reached the classrooms, which happened to be right next to each other (gasp! What a cowinkydink!), "but we should go to class. See you later Percy."

"See you later Annabeth."

I watch her as she walks into the Architecture classroom, and I have absolutely no doubt that she will be the best in her class, even the entire school! Yeah, my girlfriend is just that good. I smile to myself as I walk into Marine Bio. ready for another easy year. You see, since I'm the son of a sea god, I am pretty much a book on everything that has to do with water. I know every sea way, canal and river, I know all of the different types of fish. I know everything that has to do with boats too, but that hasn't really helped these past few years of Marine Biology. I walk in and take my seat in the front of the classroom, unpacking my books and look at the teacher, Mr. Sate. He was a tall gangly middle aged guy who always wore a long sleeved collar button up shirt and tie.

I looked around the classroom to see many fish tanks full of colorful saltwater fish. I was one of the only students in the classroom, since I was eight minutes early, so I walked up to one of the fish tanks in the far back of the classroom, hopefully out of hearing distance. This fish was a cute little clownfish.

Then the fish talked, and don't worry I'm not crazy. It's a Poseidon thing... Hello Lord. My name is Flake.  Oh yeah, did I mention that fish treat me like royalty?

"Hey Flake," I whispered so no one else could hear me. "Call me Percy."

Percy?

"Yeah Flake?"

I'm hungry. Could you feed me some fish food?

"Sure buddy. One sec." I turn to Mr. Sate, "Mr. Sate? Can I feed this fish please?"

"Sure Percy, but only a little bit, I fed them all this morning already."

"Ok."

He didn't Percy! He accidentally skipped my tank! He was called to an emergency teachers meeting and forgot to feed me! I'm STARVING!

"Ok Flake, I'll feed you the normal amount." I place the fish food in the tank and tell Flake that I have to go.

I take my seat and class is about to start.

Mr. Sate introduced himself to some of the new students and gave us a small pretest to see what we knew. After the test, we graded them. Most people got a few questions right, but most got one or two correct. I of course got them all correct, well except for one. I couldn't understand the question because of my dyslexia, it was too big and too complicated of a word that I learned was the name of the fish. It looked like geritshif. so I thought it meant tigerfish, but I missed a few letters and the question was actually about triggerfish. Oh well.
