Eli pov

I just stared at the dress.

It had looked so ugly on the rack, so how did it look good now?

I'm not an egotistical person, but this dress looked amazing on me.

"Do you like it?" Miranda asked (she's the consultant if you don't remember)

"I love this dress" I said looking myself up and down.

"It's not a usual wedding dress color....... but honey, you can pull it off" she said

I laughed "its amazing" I said looking at the glory of my dress.

I turned around and checked out the back.

It was just.......... amazing.

But I knew that no one outside would approve.

Miranda frowned "is something wrong?" she asked

"I love the dress........ but my brother will hate it, and most likely my step-mom and sister will to" I said

"Well why don't you show them and see?" she said

I gave a fake smile and said "okay"

I picked up the bottom the dress and stepped out of the changing room.

Sara gasped "Eli, oh my god it's....... its amazing!" she said

"I knew it would be great!" Skylar shouted

"It really does look amazing Eli" my step-mom said.

Everyone commented on how great it was, except for Percy.

I turned to look at him "what do you think?" I asked nervously

He looked me up and down "what do you think?" he asked.

I grinned "I love it"

"Well then, it's yours" Percy said grinning back.

Miranda spoke up behind me "I'm really sorry, but that is a sample dress and we'll have to order you another one, but I really am sorry" she said giving me a fake sympathetic look.

"How long will it be?" my step-mom asked

"About 3 months" Miranda replied

"I guess that's fine" Sara said

I changed back into my normal clothes and handed Miranda the dress.

I went and pulled Percy off to the side "so now you're agreeing with what I choose?" I asked

"I just thought......... maybe some of your life choices should be yours" he said staring at nothing and not meeting my eyes.

I hugged him and grinned "thank you" I said quietly.

I pulled away and Sara walked out "the dress is getting in on May 7th, Eli" she said.

We headed back to camp and I texted Nic the whole way home

Me: I found a dress!

Nic: seriously

Me: Yah!

Nic: what does it look like

Me: it's one of those dresses with the turtle neck (lace) and long sleeves (also lace)

Nic: great

Me: I'm kidding
