"Ne, Liar-chan~ What was that about?" Kou questioned innocently but there was a deep curiosity beneath the surface.

"What was what." I answered, -replied boredly. For a moment I could feel his gaze on me, before letting out a unsatifised grunt.

A smirk played on my lips for a moment before I swallowed it down. He couldn't read my heart. The mere thought made me almost want to laugh aloud. He could only read human hearts.

"It is true that I am not human anymore, isn't that right?" I asked the empty shadow behind me.

"I suppose so." Ruki, Yuma, and Azusa appeared out of no where.

"But I think I would like an explanation." Ruki demanded nicely.

"Ne, have you ever heard of a Death Angel?" I questioned, avoiding his demand, refusing to look eye to eye, only staring at the mass ceiling.

"Death... Angel..?" Azusa quietly asked.

Again, avoiding an explanation for what Azusa said, I spoke.

"I had... another life before this one.." My usual confident voice was replaced by a small whisper.

"Really? Who were you? What was your name?" Kou asked anxious for answer, seeing that he could not read my heart anymore.

I give a serene smile, and answered his second question.

"Hmm, who knows? I forgot it a long time ago."

"Eh?"

Ignoring all four, I went toward the grand staircase.

"Death Angels... God-killing machines." I once again spoke softly, before ascending the stairs.

I let out a small sigh, when I entered my room. Not even looking or glancing at my surroundings, I closed the door and leaned against it, my chin propped up on my knees.

"Gomen, But nii-chan has to go with Mother.... Take care of Father okay?"

"No! I don't want to be with Father! Why... Why are you always with her!? Why is it always you..?"

"You... don't have her blood... It can't be helped."

"I hate you! You always took everything from me!"

"This is fate. It's your fault for asking for too much. Just accept it. And then... I hope you can find your own happiness...."
