KARA LAID THERE FOR WHAT SEEMED LIKE HOURS, SHE SLOWLY REGAINED SOME OF HER STRENGTH. Kara attempted to stand up by using the tree for leverage. She clambered her way to stand up but she soon fell limply back onto the ground. She sighed heavily as all her emotions came flooding in. A single tear slipped onto her cheek. "Get up." She mumbled to herself. She wanted to be strong for everyone. Scratch that, she needed to be. "GET UP!" She yelled to herself, trying to motivate her. Her mind said one thing but her body said another. Kara exhaled sharply before she attempted to stand her own two legs. She sighed heavily as she planted her feet firmly to the ground while she used the tree behind her as a rest.

"You can do this." She repeated as she placed one foot in front of the other.

She shut her eyes, trying to ignore the unbearable pain. She kept walking until she finally arrived at Scott's house. Kara had been to Scott's house before but it was only for a stupid sophomore project. Kara weakly knocked on the door. The front door revealed a middle aged woman that looked similar to Scott. She had dirty blonde hair, that could be mistaken for a light brown. She had beautiful cerulean eyes that matched Scott's. "Oh my gosh, honey. Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah, can I see Scott?"

"Sure, I'll call him down." His mom said with a weak smile. She closed the door slightly before Kara could hear footsteps. After a couple of minutes, Scott arrives at the door. Scott opened the door with a smile on his lips, his smile soon faded. Scott was still wearing his baseball clothes, it looked like he just came back from baseball practice. "Oh my gosh, Kara. Come inside, I have a first aid kit inside." Scott urged. Kara nodded before her breathing became shaky as she placed one foot in front of the other. Scott offered assistance, Kara leaned against him while she limped into the living room.

Scott grabbed the first aid kit and then rushed into the kitchen. He grabbed a plastic bag and placed ice in it. He wrapped it in a kitchen towel and gave it to Kara who placed it on her throbbing black eye. Scott started to applied rubbing alcohol on the wounds which made Kara wince at the slightest. Tension clouded the room. After Scott applied rubbing alcohol, he grabbed a pillows and placed them under your legs which were placed on the foot rest. Scott sat on the couch with you. Scott gently intertwined his fingers with yours. "Who did this to you?" His voice was soft, cracking at the slightest.

"Some jocks." Kara mumbled.

"I need names of these people." Scott said firmly. "They hurt you badly. And they deserved to have their ass kicked."

She sighs heavily as she played with Scott's fingers. "It was Monty, Marcus and some other jock I don't even know."

Scott's face immediately went cold and stiff. He shook his head and tears started to form in his eyes. "Why are you crying?" Kara asked softly.

"You don't deserve all the crap you're getting." He mumbled softly as he played with Kara's fingers now. "Monty literally tried to kill you by trying to ram his car into yours. While the first day at the trial, Marcus fucking lies about your sister. And then he offends you to the point of you punching him. Which to be honest was bad ass. You don't deserve a six month probation, you don't deserve any of this shit! It makes me so frustrated." He muttered as he jutted his bottom lip out. "And on top of that, Monty and Marcus fucking beat the shit out of you. And I get tired of being called a rapist because I'm on the baseball team. Ugh." His voice cracked slightly at the last sentence.

"Scott, you're probably one of the most sweetest guys on the baseball team. You don't deserve it either. People can't label you on what you play." Kara ranted, Kara was going to say it. She wanted to say this for a long time. "Scott, I like you."

"I like like you." Kara clarified with a smile.
