Chapter 10.

My eyes opened when I felt some thunder rock the building just a tiny bit. I looked out of the window from my bed when I had sat up. It was raining hard. The sky was gray, clouds were visible, and the purple lightning bolts were beautiful in the sky when they flashed and appeared for a second.

I stretched. I noticed that I had actually dreamt last night. I haven't dreamt in a very long time and when I fell asleep, I actually blurred into a dream. Yesterday was the best day of my life. I had gotten my first actual birthday party, my first kiss, the moment Zayn and I had, I got to know the other patients better, I felt beautiful for once, I wore a dress for the first time ever, make-up also and my hair has never been as beautiful as it was yesterday. I will remember yesterday forever. The moments were unforgettable also in yesterday's day.

I got out of bed and stretched a little better. I slipped on the black slippers and I had to find some sweat pants to wear because this weather made the mansion cold. There was no carpet at all either in this house. I slipped on a sweater. I wiped my eyes and saw a few black smudges on my fingers. I made my way to my window to see my reflection, my make-up was all wiped off last night but I noticed that I still had a little mascara on. That's okay. My hair was a mess but I left it because I couldn't do anything with it.

"Morning Gigi," A girl with blonde hair passed by me as she followed a nurse and had clothes, a towel, and soap in her hands. I smiled at her and waved.

Wait. I turned around and examined her walking body behind. She can't be the girl who got Hunter in trouble. She's to old. The blonde girl that got Hunter in punishment has a room on first floor anyways. I continued walking. Speaking of Hunter, I forgot to sneak to Alma's nurses office to get a back bandage last night. I wouldn't be able to anyways. Mr.Reservoir and his employees were probably up anyways to clean up the little things around the living room.

I saw Will coming down the stairs from third floor behind me, "Morning Geraldine." He rubbed his eyes and yawned. I waved and smiled. Will rushed to my side and his arm went over my shoulder. Okay?

"So how does it feel like being eighteen? An adult," He asked as we hit the last floor and I made my way over to the kitchen-cafeteria. Whatever it is that we get our food at.

I shrugged. "Nice?" He grabbed a green apple as I grabbed a tray and stacked it with the options of food, which wasn't much. I nodded and shrugged.

"So you have stopped talking now again?" I frowned and shook my head. "You haven't spoken in this conversation," I nodded and shrugged. I'm actually still rewinding the moments from yesterday inside my head. Zayn and our really weird moment, my first kiss happening from Will, the thoughtful party from everybody, Mr.Reservoir being so kind than even before, The way I felt about myself and looked yesterday.

"Get back here!" Alma yelled. I turned around from the table I usually sat at and saw a girl running up the stairs from Alma chasing her.

"You're going to hurt me!" She yelled back. "Like you have already done to me and the others here!" I could tell she was crying. I turned back around and rubbed my temples. It was to early but it was the girl's problem she was causing.

Instead of eating, I got up and threw the tray of food to the trash. I waved goodbye to Will and made my way back to the stairs. I walked to first floor and went to Hunter's room. The baby boy was still sleeping. I stepped out and shut his room door. I was about to turn to go back downstairs but something stopped me. I looked to the stairs that lead to second floor. I looked past second floor's stairs and saw third floor's. I started walking up the many steps.
