Chapter 18.

According to Zayn, Bonnie and Clyde were very hard catching criminals. These two loved each other so strongly. Bonnie and Clyde murdered people, stole from gangsters, and broke so many laws back in the day. No wonder why Zayn loved that piece of American history. I know Zayn hasn't murdered people, stole from gangsters, and well, if he was sent here by Illinois state court then he must have broken a law. How he is gives it away that I am sure of him breaking other laws in the past. I mean, Zayn looks like that type of guy anyways. I don't mean to judge but honestly that is my opinion.

Zayn didn't explain much to me. He wanted me to actually read the book about them. I did know how to read but I wasn't that very into it growing up. Reading was always my weakest subject in school. I did try though to keep my grade up in that class and I did accomplish that. The Reservoir Mental Hospital also didn't have those kind of books. No comics, history, language, fictions, novels, etcetera.

Just children books for the children, like Hunter. I told Zayn that but he shook his head no. He demanded for me to actually read the book based on the history of when they ran all over the States.

"Somehow I will give you the book," Zayn showed his smile and I laughed. Good luck with that Zayn.

I don't think Zayn is that smart but if you test him to see. He might be, he looked smart. But his ego, just blows it away. His amazing looks too, I don't really like Zayn still. Zayn is my new friend though, I think. So I still tolerate him. "You can't. There isn't no library you can just leave too," I confirmed rolling my eyes.

"No maybe not. I will make sure you read the history book about them though," Zayn used his fingers to fix his styled hair. I shrugged and nodded.

"I guess then." I took the empty bowl from Hunter and grabbed the cloth from his lap. Wiping his face with it. I don't even know the time or day. We don't have clocks in our rooms. I stretched before getting out of bed. I asked for the boys to excuse me while I changed for the day. I got my privacy and I changed also into a pair of black gym shorts that had two white stripes sleek down on the sides. I slid on a magenta hoodie with white thread sewed into it that read USA Nationals. I slipped on a pair of white socks and my casual black slippers that I always wore. We never get sent fancy clothes, or jeans, or nice tops. Only clothes that people won't wear and buy.

"Oh, Good morning again dear." Alma stated as she smiled softly. "You can head to the shower room and brush your teeth if you would like," I nodded and made my way to the shower room. After brushing my teeth, which I spent about fifteen minutes on doing just by brushing, I washed my face off and left the medium sized bathroom.

"You look confused," Zayn grinned at me.

I titled my head slightly. "Explain,"

He chuckled lowly before he explained. "Well first off, you are wearing basketball shorts that are about three or two inches high from the knees. Second, you are wearing a hoodie," I nodded-trying to catch on what he was saying.

"Okay. I am not going anywhere fancy, so what exactly is your perpetuating point?" I pressured.

"Are you hot or are you cold?" I finally caught on and had to say a long 'ohhh'. I scoffed and rolled my eyes after. He was just teasing me about my outfit which I necessarily didn't care about. As long as I wasn't nude or showed any skin that was not appropriate.

Hunter tapped my arm. "Can I go read with my friends now?" I looked at Zayn. Hunter had friends? These kids are really starving for education because ever since they brought out the books three or two years ago, Hunter enjoys reading and so does everybody else so far.
