Chapter 46.

The lady behind the clear glass took my envelope and looked at it. She nodded and smiled. "All set to be sent out. Thanks for coming," I smiled and waved at her. Walking out of the post office and looked across the street to see the Vanquish parked. The boys inside.

"Excuse me, miss." I stopped and looked towards the direction of my existence being called. My eyes widened when an older police officer was walking my way. He was, my guess, probably fifty seven or six. A paper held in his hand. "Have you seen this male?" He lifted the paper and clear as a bell, Zayn's face was on it.

Well yes I have, he's in the car across the street from us. I sleep in the same bed and live under the same roof as him. I squinted at the paper as if I was interested in it. "I'm sorry, no I haven't." I lied. He slid another paper beneath the paper he held. A little boy that I cared about so much was on that paper. "Nope," I lied once again. My heart raced and I got this nautious feeling inside of me. The next paper was going to be me and I knew it.

"Pardon me, if you cannot see the next picture I show you. The printer at the police station hasn't been working right." Me. I knew it. I was about to lift my wrists towards him. Like I had given up and got arrested and back into that Hospital again. I rejected my weakness though.

"I'm sorry. None of those people have been seen in this town before." I said sounding more polite as ever. The officer coughed.

"Okay, thank you for your participating on our seek." I smiled and watched the officer walk away from me. Up to another person, asking another person. I looked towards the car.

The ride to the store, I stayed quiet. I was going to be dead meat right there. I could have. Honestly, I've never been so nervous in my entire life. How dumber can that cop be though? I could see my face so clear on the paper he held, the ink was faded a bit. I totally tricked that police officer. Although a nod was tied around my heart and my heart was trying to breath. I could have been caught and gone. That's the sixth time I have told myself that for the past eight minutes we have been inside of the car. Zayn asked me what he had said, what he asked, what was he holding. So many questions from him that I didn't answer at all to.

Hunter picked out many toys from the shopping store that also had groceries. I think it was called Hugh's Mart. I held the dinosaur, the bouncy ball that had cars on it, a few action figures, many actual toy cars, all in my arms that Hunter had picked out. Zayn held a few toys too. "Okay Hunter. I think that is enough toys that will keep you tied to," Zayn said. We have been standing in the boy toy aisle for a good five minutes. Hunter saying 'wow! I have to get this!' and 'This looks so cool!' Then handing whatever the toy he liked to me or Zayn.

Hunter walked to the girl toy aisle and handed me a purple car. He smiled, "This toy is specially for you." I smiled and grabbed it. My hands completely full and if I take anything else, everything will fall.

Zayn walked us over to the registers. Hunter grabbed a basket and Zayn and I set all of the toys into it. This boy was spoiled rotten. I didn't know where Zayn was getting all of this money from. I did not want to ask nor worry about it either. It's his, he can do whatever he wants with it. The basket was heavy and filled all the way to the top. The girl behind the cashier register opened her eyes wide at the basket. She looked at Hunter and nodded. As if she understood why we were buying all of these toys. Her eyes widened again when she looked at Zayn. She was young. She had to be in high school and her parents forced her to get a job over the summer. She had fake lashes on with winged eyeliner across her top eyelid. She had blonde hair and looked so perky.

"Hello." Zayn said and she grinned at him. His face, his ego, his accent, is what made her grin at him so seductively. I scoffed. Taking the four heavy bags.
