Jules felt uneasy and out of place after that kissing-scene fiasco.
It should had been the sorrowful reunion with his first love after years of separation, but Jules's eyes revealed a visage of hot, passionate love.
Tripp was examining the set. He caught a glimpse of Jules, then said to him. ''Make sure you're ready for the scene before you come back.''
Jules's heart sank. He started speaking, awkwardly. "I'm so sorry for this...I will..."
Leon was following Jules. He was about to speak for Jules. Tripp threw an unsatisfied glare at him. "It's none of your business.'' Tripp said.
Leon chuckled, playing with his phone.
Jules was still a young man. He was at an age of radical change. He was a great actor for his age, but only for his age. Compared with other experienced actors, even with Leon when at his age, Jules still had a long way to go.
Jules lacked the flexibility that Leon had when it came to playing roles. He always took longer to get into roles. It was his main weakness.
Everyone was ready and waiting for him.
No more excuses.
To calm down, Jules took out his cell phone and searched for gossips about Leon. Although he absolutely understood they were all fake, but he still felt suffocated at reading these vivid descriptions and pictures.
Jules was breathing deeply, trying to clear his mind.He tried to enter Peters' world, despite the current emotions running through his mind.
He shut his eyes for a brief moment, then signaled.
"Remember! Show your contradictive mood! Give him some space, guys."Obviously, Tripp was trying to help by giving him some much-needed space. "Control your emotions! Don't let go! Remember that you're angry with him but you also hate yourself!"
Jules nodded.
The stylist came up, helped comb Jules's hair and gave the OK to Tripp, before running out of the frame.
"Scumbags. Scene 27, Take 1, Begin!"
Sitting at the first place, Jules pushed a folder ahead, saying coldly "I've read it and I suggest that you consult with your company's other shareholders before the final decision. By the way, we haven't planned to go to the north, so your proposals...."
Jules said nothing, then abruptly burst into an ironic laughter. He was mocking Miner, and himself.
Jules lowered his gaze, puzzled. "Most of these suggestions are... extremely unprofessional and childish.''
Leon was a bit angry, looking at Jules with powerful eyes.
Leon pressed one hand on the table, with the other on the armchair. His lips trembled slightly. He looked like a wounded leopard, bearing pain and desperate for blood.
There was a long table between them, yet Jules was over awed by him.
Jules had breathed in the aura, realizing it was Leon's acting style.
Behind the shot, Tripp looked displeased at Jules.
Jules knew what was coming next, before it happened. Tripp yelled. "Stop."
Scolded by Tripp, especially when Leon is present was not something he was fond of. He hated being criticized for his acting.
He couldn't put up with it.
"Miner," Jules got up, moving his chair nearer to the table. He had returned to his normal state, trying to recover his gaffe before. "We're both busy, so there's no time to waste..."
