An almost failed shot was saved by Leon's kiss, which was a stroke of genius in the moment. Tripp preferred actors to do internal monologue during the conflict plot. Leon had worked with him several times, and he understood Tripp's preference very well.
After doing some pick-up shots, they finished this shoot.
"We can use the last shots for outtakes."
This was the first ensemble cast after the crew started shooting. They spent whole day preparing for it, and eventually finished it beyond expectation after more than three hours' shooting. Everyone was excited about their achievement. It was obvious that the assistant director was also affected by the joyful atmosphere, laughing, "Leon's on-the-spot performance was so great that he made Miner, the scumbag, come to life!"
Tripp was also satisfied with the result, but he refused to be honest, "Communicate with others ahead next time! Thanks to Jules's quick response, we didn't have to waste more time again."
Leon shook his head with a smile but kept silent.
Jules was still secretly immersed in the aftertaste of the kiss, on hearing Tripp's words, he answering hurriedly, "No, No. It's... it's Leon's contribution."
Leon lowered his head to make it easier for Vivian to put on the down jacket for him, he then looked up at Jules, asking, "Then, what's my contribution?"
Jules did not know how to answer.
All people's startled eyes looked at Jules. Jules's face could not help turning red instantly.
Everyone on site laughed.
Jules hoped he could disappear at one. He squeezed his hands and caved.
Thanks to Tripp, the assistant director had worked with Leon several times in the past, but this was the first time she saw Leon shoot so many intimate scenes. She was not sure if it was the personality of the character or other reasons that made Leon more open than before. Since they started shooting, Leon never used any stand-ins or visual dislocation in intimate scenes. He did every scene by himself. What's more, to enhance the conflict of plot, Leon arbitrarily added a kissing scene.
The assistant director focused on the extras for now, paying little attention to the kissing scene, so she was so curious about what exactly happened between these two people in the scene.
Teased by others, Jules was so bashful that he lowered his head, completely shutting up. The assistant director decided to give Jules a break. On seeing Leon was in a good mood, she ventured to ask Leon for the truth.
Leon thought the assistant director would have some business talking to him in first place, so he bowed his head, listening to her whispers.
Leon failed to keep himself from laughing.
Everyone was curious about what was happening, their eyes fixing on Leon. Leon tried not to laugh, shaking his head, "No, we didn't do French kiss. You can ask Jules."
Everyone was seething.
The assistant director looked at Jules with her eyes full of expectation, asking, "Really?"
Jules felt he would burn into ash. Thanks to the murky lighting, others could not see his face clearly. He stammered, "Leon...Leon is very professional. He... he met the requirement of shot. That's it."
The assistant director chuckled with delight, feeling a little pity at same time. She joked with Jules, "I saw that you were so nervous that I thought you... well, it's fine. But you have to stay stronger. There's a one month 'honeymoon' waiting for you."
