- day 30;
jungkook went back home after settling everything in the hospital.
he enters their apartment, scanning his eyes around the place that he creates most of the memories together with jimin.
he looked at those clean and tidy house, well-decorated furnitures that jimin was always so particular about; he can eventually still feel the warmth of jimin radiating throughout the place.
he let out a sigh as goosebumps formed over his body, an electric chill ran down his spine as he remembers, jimin still kisses him goodbye the day before yesterday, and today, he is gone - forever.
he clutches his chest where his heart was aching as he walked into the bedroom.
even though it may seems weird for a patient of Alzheimer's that he actually remembers every single detail of how and jimin ends up together.
how jimin smiles at him everytime which those beautiful, captivating eyes that will disappear and form into two little crescents.
how jimin will greet him 'good morning' by showering butterflies kisses all over his face that caused a whole zoo in jungkook's stomach.
how jimin, made him into a whole, made him alive.
he sat by the table and pulled out the brown envelope.
jungkook remembered telling jimin that he wanted a divorce, which its actually not.
the brown envelope, was actually his health report. he got back from the hospital the other day and had this on his hand the whole time.
when he told jimin he wanted a divorce, he was actually meant by ending the lifeline between them because he knew, he'd eventually dies.
he pulled out the medical report of him diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but he was startled when there is another envelope in there.
he picked it up as it fell on the floor while he was pulling out the report, and carefully opens it up and starts reading.
within seconds, his eyes are welling with tears.
