jungkook eagerly opens their apartment door, can't be more anxious to meet his jimin.

he misses him so much, even if it's only for a day.

"baby!!" jungkook searched for the kitchen, also for their bedroom but to no avail.

jimin was nowhere to be seen.

where could he be?

jungkook fished out his phone and was about to dial jimin's phone number when he received a phone call from an unknown number instead.

"hello?"

"is this mister jeon jungkook?"

"y-yes.."

"sorry to inform you, but your husband has passed away, please come to the hospital mortuary to claim his body-"

the world around jungkook falls apart as if he was the only one standing at the spot, frozen along with the time and surrounding.

he was immune to the particles that floating around the place which are actually audible to humans.

the next moment, he was dragging himself towards the direction of the hospital, his heart had never felt so heavy.

jungkook couldn't bare to see jimin's even for that one last time, to witness how pale his husband's face is, how cold his body has become.

he saw a figure scrunched down next to jimin's soulless body, jungkook assumed he was jin-hyung.

"hyung.."

"I can't believe he left us jungkook..i really can't-" jin sobbed as he cried in jungkook's arm.

jungkook was eventually speechless, nothing was actually going through in his mind, it was blank and so does his heart.

without jimin, his heart can't seems to function anymore. he was just a living person without soul, without passion, without the warmth of jimin.

jungkook caressed jimin's cheeks for the very one last time and placed kisses all over his face that has no more blood pumping through.

he stares at the still so extremely fucking beautiful face, can't interpret how can a person like jimin that was always optimistic about things, who was always so bubbly, so sunshine-like person, to have committed suicide.

jungkook could have noticed the bizarre actions of him, and how strange jimin has become these few days.

the older male can't even stand to be away from jungkook even for that one second, and he remembers jimin wasn't that clingy in the past.

he could've know these earlier, he should've know.

and he might save jimin,

or probably trade himself for jimin.

whichever one that works.

"jimin, oh my baby-" jungkook finally breaks down as he cried out so loud next to jimin's lifeless body.

it's like no matter how loud his cry was, how hard jungkook begs for jimin to come back, it was pointless.

there was no ending to it.

"please- come back." jungkook cries, hoping Jimin will come back to life.

"I miss you so, s-so fucking much"
