Elle: *narrows her eyes*

Annabeth: *backs away*
Elle: *rolls her eyes* So, who is it gonna be?
Annabeth: *grimaces* Do I have to?
Elle: Yep.
Annabeth: Do monsters count?
Elle: Person, Annabeth.
Annabeth: *groans*
*later*
Annabeth and Elle: *dragging a body through the woods*
Elle: Can I ask who this is?
Annabeth: My least favorite person.
Elle: *rolls her eyes* Can I get a name, at least? I am an accessory to your crime -
Annabeth and Elle: *suddenly pause when they hear a twig snap*
Annabeth: *turns around and yelps when she sees sword spointed right at her face*
Elle: Lady Artemis? Mom?
Annabeth: Mom?
Elle: *mutters under her breath* Of course. What an absolute fucking coincidence.
Artemis and Athena: *look at each other before lowering their swords*
Elle: *takes her ski mask off* Hey...
Annabeth: What are you guys doing here?
Athena: *shrugs* Artemis said I could join her hunting today and we were nearby - now hold on just a minute. I should be asking you that. What are the two of you doing with a body bag in the middle of the woods?
Elle: *holds her hands up in the air and backs away* Annabeth made me help her!
Annabeth: Wow, way to throw me under the bus!
Elle: Excuse me, don't drag me into this! I'm a harmless twelve-year-old!
Annabeth: None of this would have happened if it wasn't for you in the first place!
Annabeth and Elle: *start arguing*
Artemis: Athena, I swear, you have weird kids.
Athena: *pinches the bridge of her nose before grabbing Artemis by the arm* Leave them.
