lisa wasn't playing when she said she love rock bands. she was in the middle of hundreds of metalheads, currently lining up for a concert.
after she got in, she rushed to a hotdog stall. another queue that she had to get in. she rolled her eyes to the back of her head when a man in front of her turned around.
"hey."
lisa just smiled. she wasn't into small talk.
"you're too cute for a metalhead." he said again.
it caught her off guard.
"i - i don't know how to react. i'm not sure if that was a compliment or is that supposed to be offensive?"
"maybe, both? i'm sorry then if that's offensive." he grinned, his eyes formed a crescent shape.
cute.
"are you sure you're also a metalhead? you look too soft you know." a comeback by lisa.
"ummm yeah? what if i told you i'm not as soft as i look once you get to know me?"
for the second time, lisa was taken aback by his words. she didn't even know his name yet things escalated very quickly.
he laughed. "hey i'm just kidding!"
"of course you are haha." thank God it was finally his turn in the stall.

after lisa got her hotdog, she took her way to an area where she could sit and eat.
to her surprise, the same guy from the hotdog stall sat beside her, casually, munching his hotdog.
"hey again!" he smiled.
"are you stalking me?" honestly, she was kind of creeped out.
"sorry i have no company, and i'm sure you too so...."
"thanks though, but i'm okay." she took a bite of her hotdog.
"oh you are okay? then, i'm daniel. kang daniel."
"huh no? i mean... my name is lalisa. call me lisa,"
"okay lisa, enjoy your hotdog." he smiled sweetly.
"you too." she replied, with a smile after that too.
and she thought she wasn't into small talk.

there they were, next to each other in the middle of one ok rock's fans, jumping and screaming to the band's songs.
that was when wherever you are was playing,
their eyes met and suddenly they were alone in the crowd.
"lalisa, has someone ever told you that you have a beautiful name?"
she barely could hear it due to the loud music but their closeness made her cheeks blush.
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU, SPEAK LOUDER!" she yelled.
daniel was closing the distance between their face, he was close to her lips when his head tilted to her side.
"your name is beautiful, just like you," he whispered in her ear.
she heard it, her heart was thumping fast.
"THANKS." her head down, she was trying to hide her now red cheeks.
lisa didn't think twice before she tiptoed and spoke to his ear.
daniel bent down so that she could easily reach him.
"fyi, your smile is the brightest thing i saw tonight."
daniel was ready to stood straight when lisa held his arm to keep him in the current position.
"...and you're weird."
and for that night, his laugh sounded better than takahiro morita singing on the stage.
