astraphobia, fear of thunder and lightning. yes, lisa was especially afraid of thunderstorm but the man beside her promised to help her overcome that. and today, he kept the promise.

today was suppossed to be an ordinary date out, having dinner in a small cafe and go to a bookstore, that's pretty much it. but the odds said otherwise, the nature decided to play with lisa's fear and poured a heavy jug of rain. with some hints of lightning and thunder too, those were happened when they both still inside the bookstore.
"are you okay?" he said.
"i dont know, but let's just wait 'till it stops, yeah?" lisa said, a hint of fear came out of her voice.
he just smiled.
"hey, lisa." again, he smiled ever so sweetly.
"hm?"
"remember when i said i want to help you overcome your fear of thunder?"
lisa nodded.
"great, i want that to happen today, can i?"

lisa didn't even know how they even got off the bookstore but both were already on the street while holding hands. he started to spin around under the rain with the biggest smile, showing his cute pair of bunny teeth. he started laughing when he saw lisa slowly backed off then he managed to pull her again.
she never thought having her body drenched in rain could make her laugh so much like this, if it's not because of him.
he saw her getting comfortable with the rain, he grabbed her hands and asked her to dance with him. the next fifteen minutes were the moments lisa never thought that could bring so much happiness to her life. she never knew one of her fear could be involved in one of her happiest moments in life.
coldness, soaked clothes, wet hair, his laugh, his smile, his cute little dance, and rain were only some of many things that she wanted to treasure. being by his side, she knew she could trust her, she could be herself even though she doesn't know who she was yet, and that's when she knew she's really in love with him.
"thank you, bobby," lisa said, still in the middle of the rain.
he arched his eyebrows, "for what?"
"you."
because all thanks to him, he just turned her fear into beauty.
