The Not So Starry Skies.

Chapter Five

Jul was carrying the book in his hands and was walking over to me, he had a smile on his face. He was 5 feet away from me when he made a turn to the left and there stood a very giddy girl saying yes over and over again.

"Wonder way he didn't ask me." I murmured to Natsu.

"I kinda told him you were taken." He replied and smiled at me.

"You saved me there."

"You're welcome." I gave him a hug and he gave me a hug back.

"She liiiiiikes him." Happy said, but I didn't care. I could feel Natsu's warmth. After the ball we were invited to stay the night. In the morning we were paid and we all went off. We traveled by train back to Magnolia. When we returned to the guild I was asked by Mira how my first job was.

"Good." I replied.

"I heard you and Natsu are a thing now." She joked.

"Where did you hear that?"

"From the devil himself." She smiled at me and winked. "Just kidding, you are easy to confuse." She giggled and a small voice came from behind me. I turned around to see a small girl with dark blue hair, like me.

"Hi Alice, my name is Wendy and I heard that you are a dragon slayer and....hi." She said. She had a cat like Natsu's.

"My name is Carla." The cat said. "Pleasure to meet you."

"You too." I said back. "I bet you want to know where your dragon went off too, right?" She nodded. "Well I don't know either. What was your dragon's name?"

"Grandine." said Wendy.

"I've heard that name before. I think my dragon was your dragons bigger sister."

"What was her name."

"Estrela."

"Yes, Grandine told me about her once. Does that mean we are sisters?"

"I think so....." Before I could finish she wrapped her arms around me and gave me a huge hug. "Where do you live, Wendy?"

"At Fairy hill."

"Well I'm going to buy a small apartment and you can visit me any time!" Her face lit up and her hug tightened.

"Oh thank you sister!" We held the hug for a while and then she had to leave. Mira heard the entire conversation and was asking me questions about my dragon. After a while I had to break away.

"Sorry Mira, but I have to go. Another time, yes?"

"Bye Alice!" She yelled as I was in the threshold. I walked to my new apartment and paid the land lady the money. The great thing about this apartment is that is was across the hall from Lucy's, and only 50,000 jewel a month! There was a bathroom and a small kitchen. The living area was part of my bedroom. I settled in with the few belongings I had and laid down on the freshly made bed.The bed was adorned with a blue quilt that Estrela gave me. I could finally relax. I shut my eyes and was about to have a nap when there was a knock at my door. I opened it to find Lucy. I invited her into the room. She sat down on the bed.

"I didn't know we would be apartment buddies! When I heard this apartment was sold to you I was so happy!" She said to me. "That's why I invited a few people here...." Just then Natsu,Gray, Happy and a tall red head came trough the doors. I recognized her from sorcerer's weekly. She was one of FairyTail's strongest wizards. She has the ability to reequip armor and weapons. She sat down on my bed and introduced herself.

"My name is Erza Scarlet. Nice to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about you from Lucy. Nice to have another dragon slayer on the team."

"Wait, I'm on your team now?" Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Happy and Erza are known as FairyTail's strongest team, and they want me to join?

"Yeah!" Said Natsu. "The team needed you!" He gave you a reassuring smile.

"Glad to have you." Gray said.

"Let's PARTY!" Yelled Happy.

"We can't have parties in the building. The land lady doesn't want any noise." Lucy said.

"Let' all have a sleep over!" Erza suggested. "This would be my first sleep over ever!"

"Okay, but no boys allowed." I said, looking at Natsu, Happy and Gray.

"Fine, then we'll leave!" Natsu said. They exited the room and when the door was shut Lucy made plans of who would sleep where. It was decided that I get my own bed and Lucy and Erza would sleep on the floor. Lucy got extra blankets from her apartment and set them on the floor. This was going to the best sleep over ever!

We had the most intense pillow fight anyone could imagine. Erza was flinging 5 pillows at once and Lucy was laughing on the ground uncontrollably. Next was the scary stories. Erza told one about a monster that she had beaten in the past. Lucy told one about an invisible man. Mine was the bast. It was about this girl and how her dog would lick her hand and she heard dripping sounds and got up in the middle of the night to find there was no taps on or anything and her dog would lick her hand before she fell asleep again. In the morning she found her dog dead and written on the wall in blood was "People can lick too." I got them all scared and then shouted"BOO!"

"The poor dog!" Cried out Lucy from under her blankets. Erza herself was

"Next is truth or dare! But what is said in truth or dare can not be repeated! EVER!" I said. We gathered in the middle of the room and sat down." Erza, truth or dare?"

"Dare." She replied.

"I dare you to go outside and yell I LOVE HAPPY!" With a little pushing from Lucy and I she actually did it. Lucy and I laughed so hard I got a cramp in my side.

"Okay, Lucy, truth or dare?"

"Truth." She said.

"Who do you like?" Erza teased.

"If I say who it is Juvia will kill me!"

"So it's Gray?"

"Yeah." Lucy blushed. "I bet you were expecting me to say Natsu, well I like him as a friend.Now, Alice, Truth or dare?"

"Truth." I answered. I knew what was coming.

"Do you like Natsu?" She asked and they both leaned in on my answer.

"Yes, kinda. But I don't know for sure he likes me back." I said, embarrassed.

"How sad. I can find that out for you, if you want." Lucy winked at me and smiled.

"That won't be necessary. I'm okay not knowing."

"Okay, but if he breaks your heart I'll take care of him for you." Added Erza.We joked about all the times Erza has beaten Natsu in a fight and in the end we all agreed that Erza is superior to Natsu. Just then we heard Happy's voice from outside.

We all rushed to the widow to find Happy and Natsu eavesdropping! I opened the window and let him inside.

"How much did you hear." I asked him. He looked down at his feet and twiddled his thumbs. I repeated myself."HOW MUCH DID YOU HEAR?" He grabbed me by the shoulder and looked into my eyes.

"Erza, Lucy get out of the room for a moment." He requested."You too Happy." They all left the apartment. He looked at me and gave me a smile.

"I'm just paying you." He joked. "I just arrived." I slapped him, not hard but enough to make my point clear.

"Then out you go!" I pushed him to the door and opened it to find everyone with their ears to the door. "Come back in. Natsu's just being a bother. It's ok." They came back in and we continued the sleep over. Hours passed and we finally decided to sleep. I climbed into my bed and looked out my window to see that a light rain had started. The softness of the sheets and the combined with the warmth, I fell into a deep sleep.
