The Not So Starry Skies.

Chapter Eleven

I looked behind the tree to find Lisanna in Natsu's arms kissing passionately. I was shocked and then he noticed me. He didn't say anything, he just looked. It was his normal look. He mouthed "I'm sorry," and then stopped kissing Lisanna. I ran to my apartment and bolted the windows shut. He called my name from behind but I didn't listen. My heart was truly broken beyond repair. So this was the 'job' he was going on. I took my bag and threw it against the wall. I screamed loudly. The words of hate sputtered out.

"I hate you!!!'I screamed over and over again. I ran to my bed and flopped down on it. I cried and cried for hours it seemed. Lucy must've heard me and she came into my apartment. She hugged me and told me about how I was so right to hate Natsu. She went trough the same thing before. except with another guy. I fell asleep with tears burning my face. The next morning I packed my bags and went to the train station. I was going to Blue Pegasus a day early but I didn't care. I needed friends who knew me. Little did I know that I was being followed. Girl dragon slayers don't get motion sickness, which is good for me because I like to travel lots. I sat next to the window with and empty seat next to me. A figure sat next to me and said hi. I know that voice. I turned to see Gray.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Coming with you. I heard from Lucy what happened. I'm here to help you." He replied.

"Won't the guild know you're gone?"

"I told them I was going on a mission."

"Good." Tears welled in my eyes."I'm glad you're here Gray." I said letting a tear escaped my eye. The trip wasn't long. 2 hours at most. When we left the train we still had to walk for like another hour to get there. When we were at the front doors of the guild I had to tell Gray something. "The Master is weird."

"I know. I've met him before."

"Good." I pushed the doors open to see almost the inter guild there. "I'm back!!!!" I yelled. Heads turned and most of the guild came to talk to me.

"Alice, are you going to stay forever?" One asked.

"Glad you're home!"Master Bob said. Just then Hibiki, Eve and Ren. They took me by the hand and sat me down a couch.

"Glad you're home!" Eve said.

"You are still a beauty!" Hibiki said.

"Hot towel?" Ren asked.

"Guys, how many time do I have to tell you that I'm no princess?" I joked.

"Sorry Alice." Eve said.

"It's just because you've been gone for so long!" Ren said. Hibiki sat next to me and gave me a hug. I looked at Gray and he was dumbfounded.

"Oh Gray! Glad you're here!" Eve said.

"How do they know you?" I asked him.

"We defeated the Oracion Seis together. Didn't know they would be here." He answered.

"This is their guild after all, Gray." I joked. I stood up and went to Gray's side. "Now where is Whisty?" Just then a heard a high pitched scream coming from the back of the guild.

"ALICE!!!!!!!!!" Whisty screamed. She ran towards me and we hugged. "You weren't coming here until tomorrow?"

"I couldn't wait to see you guys!" I lied. She hugged me tighter. "You can let go now."

　

"Okay." She let go. Then she noticed Gray."Is this your boyfriend??" She teased, nudging me in the side. Before I could answer Gray spoke up.

"Yes. I came along so she could introduce me to her family." Gray said. I looked at him."Just play along. Okay?" He whispered.

"Oh yeah. Meet Gray. I believe Hibiki and the others met him already." I said aloud.

"Well then you picked well." Ren said.

"He was a big help to everyone when we worked together." Hibiki said.

"Well done Alice-onee-chan!" Eve yelled. I hugged Gray close at my side. He leaned in close on gave me a kiss on the cheek. Everyone awed. I blushed madly.

"We have to leave soon dear." Gray said.

"Okay." I said." Meet you back here in an hour!" I said to him. I walked over to Whisty. We sat down at a couch and talked on and on. I told her about what happened to me and about Natsu being a jerk. I told her about my father and what he did to me and my friends. We talked forever about things when Gray tapped my shoulder.

"Time to go. You wouldn't want to miss the flower festival." He said in a loving voice.

"Sorry guys," I said as I rose,"I have to go. Be back in a few months, kay?" I said it loud enough so the whole guild could hear. I walked over to Hibiki and told him to take care of Whisty for me. I could hear people saying bye as Gray pulled me trough the door. Once we were out the smile I was wearing faded. I grabbed Gray's hand and took it off of me. "Why do you have to be my boyfriend?" I yelled as he walked forwards.

"You can't be dating anyone from another guild. It's against guild law. I made you taken so no one was going to try anything on you."

"And what? I can't take care of my self?"

"Precisely!" This shocked me. Now he was going to hurt me? Gray realized what he just said and came towards me. I felt tears come but I held them back. I was going to be strong. I wasn't going to be weak any more.

"Can you train me?" I asked him.

"Why do you ask that?"

"I'm a dragon slayer that can't even slay a butterfly, that's why!" I screamed and sat down on a near by rock.

"I will if it means that much to you." He said as he sat down next to me. We hugged for a while. "When do we start?"

"When we get back to the guild." We walked to the train station. We came back to the guild. everyone was partying for some reason. I looked around to see that Natsu had Lisanna in his arms. Lucy came over to me shouting something.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"Natsu and Lisanna are together now!" She said excited. My hands turned to fists. I rotated to Gray.

"Let's go now." I said. He nodded.

"Where are you going?" Lucy asked.

"Away for a while. My rent money is in my pillow. Tell the land lady I wont be back for 6 months." I told her. Lucy's jaw dropped. "It's a mission we found." I told her. Gray and I left for my apartment. I packed a suitcase of clothes and necessities. After I was done we went to Gray's house. Once he was done packing we both left. We walked deep into the east forest to set up camp. I found a cave and weaved a door for the entrance. Once we got all settled it was all ready night.

"Time for exercise one." Gray began.
