Mum pushes my wheelchair through the mall, while I pick the dress. I couldn't believe what am I doing. A date with death. Well that sounds cheerful. I continue to make puns in my head until three perfect dresses showed up.
-Wow, mom, look at those!
-Oh yes! I actually know that Elizabeth has the red one and Roxanne took the one with both shoulders.
-Well, then, I will have to take the one that goes on just one shoulder...
-Don't worry, it will fit you perfectly.
She said and went in the shop to buy me a dress. Later when we returned home I slowly prepared for the party. I tried to walk, but the pain was still too big to stay like that for too long. So I used that time to dress up. I put on mom's white slippers and just braided my hair simply. No make up tonight needed. As I looked at the mirror my heart dropped. There were visible scars over my arms and neck. One tear rolled over my face before I noticed someone in my room.
-What is wrong, Y/N? You look amazing.
-But the scars...William...they are too visible...
-Y/N, no one will dare to say anything about them. Because you are going to be with me, all the time. I won't leave you alone, I promise.
-O-okay...thank you...
He whips off the tears from my face and pushes my wheelchair through the house and garden to Leavitt manor. The party inside already started but the music and chattering stopped as soon as everyone saw William and me.
-William...
-Y/N, you look....WOW!
-Guuurrrrrl! You glorious!
I laughed at my two silly friends Elizabeth and Roxanne and so did the most of the people here. The party continued and I got so many compliments that I almost thought that William payed them to act like this. Eventually, grownups left our younger folk to have fun and they went to someone else's house. Now it was, Elizabeth, Roxanne, Damien, William and me. Oh how I wish that grownups stayed. Elizabeth got up her secret drink stash and she, Roxie and Damien got so drunk, that William and I had to stop them from all kinds of idiotic ideas.
-But I want to dance!
-You can dance, Liz, but your clothes has to stay on, okay?
-But it's too hot!
-HOT DAMN!
-Shut up, Damien!
-Don't be like that! Let her dance.
-William, I swear to God I will kill you. Elizabeth, if you take your clothes off, I am going to ruin all your red lipsticks.
She gasped, offended, but stopped stripping.
-Roxie is sleeping in Liz's room.
-Yeah, I saw her pass out on the floor, two minutes ago.
-Hey, Liz! Are you sleepy?
-Just a little...
-If I put Damien to sleep next to you, would you go to bed?
She rushed to her room, undressed, put on her pajamas and waited for Damien.
-Damien, go to sleep next to Liz. Go cuddle with your girlfriend, come on...
He got up from the floor and threw himself on the bed next to Liz. I covered them with blankets and went back to living room. The music was still on loud, so I turn it off completely. The living room was in mess and William helped me to fix everything that I could, before he took me back to my room.
-Well, I did not expect that!
-Tell me about it! Last time when I was on human party, half of them died.
-Well, you are a cheerful person...
-Using sarcasm as always, I see.
-Sorry, it activates automatically.
-I hope you had a good time, though. It was nice to finally go somewhere out of my uniform.
-I'm glad you had fun, I know I did.
-We should repeat this sometimes...but...just you and me this time....
-Are you asking me on date, William?
-Well...I-I do...
-Okay, then. Sure, we should repeat this many more times. Just you and me.
