Investigation

The next day passed really slow. Liz, Malka and I stayed with Roxie over the night. After we came home, we noticed the police in front of the Leavitt manor. Liz grabbed my hand and started to shake.

-Come on Liz...It will be okay, we have alibis. The video will prove that we have not killed them and everything will be fine. 

Malka looked at me trying to comfort her and she decided that she should help, since Liz was still shaking.

-Look Lizzie. If you continue to shake they will arrest you at the first look! Stop all that shaking and pull yourself together! 

Elizabeth looked at Malka and nodded. She let go of my hand and slapped herself couple of times and then smiled.

-Thanks girls.

She said and we entered the manor.

Our parents were sitting with the police in the living room and talking. As soon as we entered the house, they called us there. We set on the opposite side of the room of them and police came to us.

-Names?

-Elizabeth Leavitt.

-Malka Shepard. 

-Y/N Goldenblood.

Police officer raised his head on my last name and that was the moment when I noticed that my mom wasn't in the room. Only Leavitts and probably Malka's parents. Wow, they came here all way from Riverbrook. 

-Goldenblood? Like in Steve Goldenblood?

-He was my father, sir.

-I'm very sorry for your loss, miss Goldenblood. Your father was one of my best friends. I worked on his case.

-Thank you, sir. And thank you for finding the killers.

He nodded and continued with questions.I could see the looks that Elizabeth, Malka and others in the room gave me. Everyone knew for the Goldenblood case. Well for Steve Goldenblood's murder. It shook both the human world and the other's world. My father was one of the rare people that fight for the rights of the Other ones. He was the one that actually gave them their rights. When his murderers were caught, no one didn't know how to feel. Some were very angry, some were sad, some happy... They thought that I will become the most brutal monster hunter in the world, but look at me. Just a very powerful witch with a lot of strength. 

-Do you girls have alibis?

-Yes sir. Here. Everything is on the camera. We had a girl night.

-What about that demon...Damien?

I could feel the anger raising inside of me. 

-What about him?

I said cold. Liz took my hand, trying to calm me down and Malka did the same.

-We have the information that he is often seen with your little trio. Especially with you, miss Goldenblood. You two seem very close. 

-Damien was with us whole night! You have no right to talk about him like that! He didn't do anything! His job is to kill monsters and protect humans! He would never hurt a human! Never!

-Y/N, calm down! It's okay girl...calm down...

I took a few deep breaths and tried to calm down. Idiots! Damien is the one protecting them.

-Look, I can tell you what really happened that night, but not here and not now. I'll come to the police station in 20 minutes just to take some evidences. Okay?

Everyone stared at me. Police officer nodded and showed to his man to leave the house. After they left, the real show started.

-What the Hell was that?! WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL WAS THAT Y/N?!

-Lizzie, I beg you not to yell. My head is already in mess.

-Not to yell?! How do you think that I can do that?! You lied to the police!

-Who said that I lied?

-Like you know what happened that night! You were with us!

-Shut up Elizabeth! It was my fault that they died! It was my spell that made them do that! I know what happened because I KILLED THEM!

I say and storm out of the manor. I didn't notice a person on the gates and I bumped in him.

-S..sorry...

I say and run in my house and then in my room. I take my rune stones and my black book. I quickly change my clothes and go to the police station. Everyone was already waiting for me.

-Right on time I see.

-I do as I say.

-Come in here. 

He says and I go in small room with a glass wall. I sit on the metal chair and put my book and stones on the table.

-So tell me. What happened that night.

He said and turned on the recorder. I started from the deal with Orion and ended with the fight that I had with him before I came to Roxie's house. He was patient while I showed him the spell and explained him everything.

-Well, I didn't expect that to happen, but you must understand that we have to ask Damien few questions and Lord Orion too.

-Orion will probably say opposite, but Damien will confirm. I can stay in here if you want to be sure that I wont tell him my story.

-Okay. Stay in this room and I will call you when we finish with him.

-One more thing officer...

-Yes?

-If you just dare to disrespect him, I will throw a curse on you and your entire family, okay?

His eyes widened and he nodded. Being a witch is awesome.
