Once Bitten, Twice Shy [[Kid X Reader X Ace]]

Someone Needs to Explain......

Reader POV -

So Zoro was still sitting on top of you, arms crossed with his trademark little smirk on his face. Asshole. "It's been a hot minute since we were in this position, huh?" You joked, instantly seeing the slight flush in his cheeks. 'One for me,' you thought. His knees tightening on your ribs snapping you back to the reality at hand causing you to suck air through your teeth.

"What the literal fuck are you doing?" You growled. You bucked your hips and unexpectedly sent him flying into the wall behind you. 'Mental note: watch your hips' you thought to yourself. You stood up and looked around to see the others still watching you.

"Is no one going to explain this?!" you screamed motioning up and down pointing to your head and lower half. Finally, Law stepped up, hands in his pockets with that chillingly warm gaze. You noticed his eye color had changed. It went from the steely grey to warm honey. You saw how one wolf ear poked out the side of his fluffy cow hat, while the other was concealed inside. His legs were lean and muscular, the fur that covered his lower half was a deep black but had a tinge of blonde mixed throughout, almost like the brindle on a Boston Terriers coat. Your eyes followed his calm demeanor until he was standing right in front of you.

While this was happening, Ace and Sabo turned their attention to Zoro and went to help pick him up. Law waited until they were done before spilling the info on what is going on. He motioned for you to take a seat before beginning.

"We come from a long lineage of what people would consider to be a Lycan-type werewolves." he said calmly.

"No shit?" you quipped, instantly getting a chuckle from Kid and Ace.

Law glared at Kid, "As I was saying", he continued. "But we've sort of evolved a little further since then over the past century. We've still got the powerful legs, our nails lengthen in fights, our bodies become somewhat larger. Others more freakishly than others." he said with a smirk nodding towards Kid, which only earned him a bar stool being thrown at him. "We kept the tails for stability, the ears, well, you should know what those are for,"he said while tugging on the red tufts of your ears causing you to lay them flat against your head. He chuckled, "And the brindle effect you see in our lower halves helps us to sort of camouflage, if need be. The large tails help conceal our upper half while we crouch down." He motioned to your tail.

You looked at it and began playing with it, gazing at the red mottled through it. It was so soft. You started to notice the colors of everyone else. Kid had a deep, almost vermilion color to his. His eyes had changed from gold to ruby. Zoro had an almost emerald glow to his black fur, you giggled as it went in the color scheme of his mossy hair. Ace had tinges of orange throughout. Sabo had an almost royal blue hue. The colors matched the boys personalities.

Law just gave him the finger and continued on, "needless to say, we don't have the numbers we used to have. People murdering us. Selling any females they could find. Trading us. Our numbers just died rapidly. Then we began wars among-st ourselves, the weak or cowardly were soon overtaken. We spread out. We randomly find each other here and there. It's always a turf war at first, but we end up settling things, if only for the sake of our kind surviving."

"So how many of 'us' are there in this town?" you asked

"Who you see in this room. And then, the unfortunate one who decided to attack you, apparently." Kid answered annoyed.

"Well, how many other females are there like me?" you questioned crossing your arms over your chest.

Law walked away, while Kid picked up the answer with just a simple gesture. He held up one finger and then pointed at you.
