READER POV:

You had to admit, your kitchen looked a lot better now, but was all the excessive noise really necessary, you thought recollecting the way Kid basically blew your door off the hinges when he started to 'fix' what he had done previously. May be you made fun of him too much that day. 'Oh well,' you shrugged, 'moving on'.

You pinched the bridge of your nose when you came around to the dining room and saw Ace face-planted into a bowl of cereal, spoon still held upright. "Dumbass" you muttered to yourself grabbing a wad of his hair and lifting his face out of the cocoa-y abyss. You had to give his cheek a good pinch before he snapped out of it.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" he screeched, rubbing his now very rosy, cheek.

"Couldn't let my roomie drown in Cocoa Pebbles....that wouldn't be right." you chuckled ruffling his hair and walking by him towards the living room. He jutted out his bottom lip and pouted.

You flicked on the TV to Jersey Shore and asked, "What do you want to do tonight?" You hadn't been out for a while, well except to work, but that was very seldom, and why you loved it. Tons of spare time to kill. But ever since you found out that you had a female werewolf change you, it brought up way too many questions and you felt like you couldn't trust anyone. You'd become almost reclusive. Did you know her? Was she a friend? An enemy? But most importantly why? Nothing made sense anymore.

"Well, I guess we could always go to Sabo's and enjoy each others company." Ace purred in your ear as he slid over the back of the couch. You visibly shuddered at the closeness of his lips to your ear. Slight pink dusted your cheeks as he goofishly wiggled his eyebrows at you.

"Oh, shush," you giggled and put your hand on his face pushing him away, "but that does sound a like good idea. I haven't seen everyone for a little while, it would be nice to see some familiar faces and hear what they've been up too.

(time skip to later in the evening)

You and Ace had just walked into Sabo's and the place was packed. "What the fuck..."you balked, "it's fucking Thursday, don't these people have to work tomorrow?"

"Well, duh, but they'll probably be leaving in a little while." Ace responded still eyeing the crowd for a seat at the bar. While he craned his neck scanning the crowd, you felt uneasy and started looking around the room. Was someone watching you?

"I'm stepping out for a cancer stick." you told Ace as you walked outside and shook a cigarette from the pack. You were looking for your lighter when a flash of light from in-front of you caught your attention. You must've look like a deer in the headlights until you realized it was Sanji holding out his lighter for you. You swatted at his arm in frustration. "Don't do that!" you huffed.

"Oh y/n-swan, you should know that no man should ever let a lady light her own cigarette." he said coolly as he lit his own.

"Yeah, well, I ain't no lady so..." you stated sticking your tongue out at him. You took a drag and leaned against the building. "Why are you here? Thought you worked tonight?"

"No, Luffy wanted to hang out with gang, so we were all coming here tonight." he mused exhaling a small plume of blue-grey smoke. "What about you? How are we blessed with such a beautiful presence tonight?" he swooned with hearts in his eyes.

"First of all," you started, "you're in my bubble." You pushed him arms length away from you. "Second, I can't be letting my problems get in the way. Gotta push'em to the side and figure that shit out later. So tonight, we drink!" you lied. You wanted to drown these stupid thoughts. Have some fucking fun. But still you were uneasy about everything.
