My beeping phone awoke me from my peaceful slumber. I groaned and grabbed my phone from the nightstand. I had 32 messages from Jughead, Betty and Brittany.

(12:34) Message from Jughead: WE KNOW WHO 'LYGRE' IS. MEET US AT POP'S AT 12.

I jumped out of my bed, into the shower. I quickly washed myself and brushed my teeth. I got out and dressed myself in some black ripped jeans and a grey Champions sweater. I slid into my black dr. Martens and grabbed my bag. "Jimmy! Your friends are here!" My mother exclaimed from downstairs. I rushed downstairs and saw them sitting on the couch. As soon as they saw me, they grabbed me and dragged me outside. "We know who Lygre is. And it's important that we only keep it inside our circle. No offense to your mother but we don't know who we can trust." Kevin stated.

"Who is he?" I asked in great curiosity. "Not he. She. It's Lydia Greenstone." Jughead answered. I looked at him and laughed. "Stop it Jughead! You're going to make me piss in my pants." He had a serious look on his face. My laughter died down. "Wait.. you're serious? Come on. I know that Lydia is cruel and has no life but threatening pupils and murdering them?" "We have a theory that Lydia is the one threatening and her family is the one killing. We looked further into the family and it turns out that they're some sort of cult or gang. They deal in weapons so that explains the weird patterns on the dead bodies. They probably have some freaky, Call of Duty type weapons." Brittany explained.

"Exactly. And the family their 'color of honor', as they call it, is green. Some people said that they had seen someone who was wearing a black mask over his whole face, dressed in a green cape. It's the murderer, Jimmy!" Betty predicted. Pieces started to get put together in my mind. It was crazy to say, but it kind of made sense. "Guys.. they're right. I saw the person two times. One time at Pop's and the other time when I was on my way to the Whyte Wyrm." They all gasped. "Why didn't you tell us?! Was he after you?" I nodded. "He even ran after me, trying to scare me, because if he wanted to kill me that afternoon, he could've. And I was petrified, that's why I didn't say anything."

Before we knew it, we sat at a Pop's diner table. "What are we going to do with this information?" I asked. They all adverted their gaze to Brittany. "I found out that my father is working with them. I saw the files in his drawer. One of the files also contained the meeting place that they go to, to discuss their next hit. We are going on a spy mission tonight." I sighed. "That is.. something. What if they catch us and kill us all?" I replied. "I'm going to bring my recorder and it's connected to my iCloud so what I'm going to record, will automatically save itself on my laptop." Jughead stated with a smirk.

The bell on the door announced someone's presence. Jughead froze and his expression changed into a unpleasant one. "Jones." Someone spoke from behind me. "Penny." He spoke back. I recognized that name. I twisted my neck around. My gaze met a young woman with messy, blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore a Southside Serpents jacket and the eyeliner underneath her eyes was smudged. I could finally place a face with the name. Her eyes met mine. "I want to speak with you." I frowned. "Me?" "Yeah you, come on, sh*tstick."

I followed her to a booth and sat on the opposite of her. "I guess you already know who I am." She stated. Her voice was raspy, so I could tell that she smoked a lot. "Yes, I do." She leaned against the table, with her arms folded. "Good. I'm here to tell you to back off from Sweet Pea. He doesn't need a pathetic Northsider in his life." I scoffed out of surprise. "Really? Well, then I'm here to tell you that won't happen." She smirked. "Babygirl, I guess you don't know who I really am. Break up with him, or I'll break you."

"I guess you'll have to do the honors then. Break me all you want. I'm not breaking up with him, Penny." Even if I wanted to, I couldn't. We're technically not together because he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend. "Fine. I'll wait till this phase runs it's course." "Runs it's course?" She grinned. "You're not the first girl to turn his head, you know. He the type of boy to look for love in the most disgusting places." She said as she glared at me in disgust. "You young things are too easily persuaded by the touch of lips. Girlfriends, they come and they go. But people like me, who would die for him, we are forever." She moved closer to me. "Stay away from him." And with that, she left me in confusion at the Chock-lit Shoppe.

I stuffed another popcorn in my mouth. I pretended to watch TV while my mind was running overdrive about what was about to happen in less than thirty minutes. We were about to break into the Greenstone Residence and overhear all their plans. My mother came in the living room, dressed in a green shirt and black pants. "I have to go honey. I'm going on a date with this guy tonight. Do I look good?" She said while twirling around. I laughed "Yeah. You look perfect." She placed a kiss on my temple. "I'll be home before 1!" "Bye!"

As soon as the door closed, I jumped off the couch and raced upstairs. I dressed myself in all black attire. I put my hair in a bun and raced to Betty's house. They were all waiting there since it was the closest to the Greenstone Residence. "Are you all ready?" Kevin asked. We all nodded. "Let's go."

We traveled through the woods to not be caught. I held my flashlight tight in my hand. The adrenaline was rushing through my body. I heard a branch snap from behind me, making me freeze. I twisted my neck around and saw Archie. "Arch?! What are you doing here?!" "Yeah, you almost made me sh*t in my pants!" Kevin added. "Do you think that I'm letting you do this alone?" I sighed. "Fine. Just be quiet." We walked up to the backdoor. Betty slid a bobby-pin out of her hair and began to unlock the door. "Do we even know where the meeting is?" I asked. "No." They all replied. I sighed and prayed a quick prayer. I wasn't planning on dying tonight.

The door opened with a soft click. We quietly tip-toed inside. We heard faint speaking in the distance. "Follow me." Brittany mouthed as she tip-toed in the direction of the voices. We ended up at a black door that was locked. The voices were now recognizable. We peeked under the door where the light came from. I saw a woman with a green shirt walk over to one of the men wearing green capes. "I suggest we go on a killing spree." When I heard the voice speak, my stomach fell to the ground. It was my mother. "That's not smart, Phoebe. It will draw immediate attention and that is not good. We want to kill them one by one, just like we've been doing these last weeks." Brittany's father replied.

"Daddy, can you please not hurt Sweet Pea?" A soft voice spoke in fear. It was Lydia. "How often do I have to tell you that you should not affiliate yourself with those nasty Serpents!? You are a disgrace to this family! Go to your room!" A man shouted — his voice booming through the whole house. We quickly ran in different directions, splitting up. I ran into a room full of weapons. My mouth fell open at the sight. It were weapons that you've never seen. Weapons that you'd not even dare dream about. I took my phone out of my pocket and snapped pictures. Suddenly, the door handle creaked. I quickly hid behind the coat rack. "We have to do this fast, Hernand. The gangs will riot sooner or later. We have to kill five gang members in the next two days. Understand?" A elderly old man told the young one. I could see them from where I stood. I quickly snapped a picture. "Yes sir. I understand."

"Good. Now leave." Just as he was about to leave, an ear piercing yell was heard. They both sped out of the room, one of them locking it. I scolded myself. I saw a half open window and looked outside. If I were to jump down, I would break a few bones. But it was the only option I had.
