Chapter 5

A certain flower caught my attention among many others. This one was special and different, not the prettiest combination of colours since others were pure bubblegum pink, making them look cute and gentle. I frowned when someone picked it up and then threw away. Yuta gave me a questioning look

"What's wrong?"

"This guy just plucked the flower out as if it was bothering him in any way"

"You think it's unfair?"

"Exactly", our eyes met. Maybe I melted a little bit due to the generic moment when I'm understood and a cute guy looks at me. It was sweet but made me feel nothing special, somehow I got the impression that Yuta thought oherwise. After a long walk and after I gave almost every dog a belly rub we sat on a bench and talked about each other. Naturally I avoided the topic of my family and he seems to understand and avoids asking about it

"So, you're a very empathetic person"

"I guess I am, maybe because of my brother"

"He seems like a really nice person"

"Of course, at least he sleeps with a pillow"

"You're still not over it"

"And your head is not over a pillow which doesn't sound good for your neck", he couldn't stop laughing, it made me feel embarrassed because someone might think I'm funny when in reality I just say dumb things that are on my mind. Now I'm unable to contain myself and also burst out laughing

"Why are you always so loud?", I was about to apologize but that's when Yuta stood up to greet the person in front of us. They exchanged a few words before the guy turned to me

"Who is the cute lady accompanying you?", did my jaw drop? Pfft, no

"This is Y/N, my friend from school. Y/N, Lee Tae Yong, childhood friend", Yuta introduced us in an adorable giggly way

"Hi Y/N, it's a pleasure to meet you"

"The pleasure is mine", I wanted to slap myself for showing how amazed I was. It's just the manly, handsome, confident aura around him that made me a bit shook and dazed. Not the total opposite of angelic and silly Yuta but they were definitely not giving the same vibe. My shyness kicked in and I looked aside, hoping he leaves soon. Tae Yong notied my reaction and chuckled with his deep voice

"I apologize for disturbing you. I'll be on my way now, see you soon Yuta. Bye Y/N", we waved him a goodbye and I let out a deep breath

"I'm glad the Korean Casanova is gone"

Yoongi's POV

"So, how are things with Y/N?", Taehyung asked in a mocking voice, the atmosphere was tense when he mentioned her name and everyone went 'oooh'

"What do you mean?", I asked in annoyance as I put a glass with ice and a Sprite bottle in front of Hoseok. For some reason, we couldn't talk through messages so they decided to annoy me in real life. Jungkook smiled mischeviously and joined Taehyung in teasing

"You know very well what we're talking about", they high fived. Namjoon, the father of our group, jumped to my rescue

"Come on, that's not why we're here. Let's just talk about the trip"

"Anyway, Y/N wants to invite all of you... including you, Jungkook", he looked shocked as I provoked him

"Why wouldn't I be invited?"

"Because I don't like you being near Y/N, bodybuilding rabbit", I threw a rag at his face. Jimin laughed but then asked something

"What about your work?"
