Chapter 21

"Holly, dinner is ready", her feet while running create such a cute sound, I can't help myself but giggle. I put the bowl in front of her and watched the puppy eat as my thoughts are elsewhere. Seems like I annoyed Yoongi too much, it made him leave his genius lab and go to the giant studio.  He's never reacted like that before but I guess there's a first time for everything

"Be right back", I excused myself and let Holly dine in peace. Why is Jin calling this late?

"Hey Jinpaca"

"Hi Y/N, got a minute?"

"Sure, sup?"

"Yeah, I was thinking and... are you sure it's a good idea to stay with Yoongi?"

"Yes, why are you asking?"

"I'm just worried, he is gaining popularity, crazy fangirls, he's busy all the time... aren't you lonely and exposed to getting hate? You two literally share a bed-"

"H-how did you know?"

"I was just guessing but jeez tone it down, will you? Anyway, the news of you two could spread around easily"

"Oh... that's true"

"And please make him sleep on a couch or something"

"Basically, you want me to move out?"

"Maybe... I don't know"

"I understand your concern but I feel like he really needs me now. This lifestyle is new to him and he is just getting used to it"

"What about your needs?"

"I don't have any"

"If you say so... okay, thank you Y/N"

"Please trust me on this Jinpaca"

"Sure. Have you thought about accepting the job?"

"Actually, I think I'd prefer to be a freelancer, though maybe it could be a good start. I'm not sure yet"

"Okay, take your time. It's quiet over there, is Yoongi out?"

"I kind of pushed all of his buttons so he left to work, I was thinking of coming over there to apologize, he must be lonely and that's never good with him"

"You're spoiling him... it's too late for you to go outside"

"You're worrying too much, go to sleep. Talk to you tomorrow, bye", I hung up before he could nag more because otherwise he would never stop. Does he really think Yoongi is being selfish? Maybe just this once it's fair and completely fine to play the starring role.

It is pretty late, why hasn't he returned yet? I checked my phone just to throw it away in disappointment. Of course he didn't send a text... 

The fact that Yoongi is getting so much love and support is beautiful and exactly the way it should be, because he is that amazing and talented. And he handled the stage fright well, I'm so proud of how well he has grown as a person. 

What about me?

What am I doing with my life? 

Oh well, I'll sort things out eventually. How about I prepare some food for Yoongi, he always returns hungry and exhausted. For some reason I got hyped and excited so cooking took less than an hour. Jin shouldn't worry so much about me, I have never felt more alive. Isn't it cute how witnessing your loved one's success is fulfilling and nothing else matters at that moment? Loved one...

A familiar melody lingered through my head as I thought about those two words. It's what I played for Yoongi when we first went to the music room in our school.
