Dress Shopping

Five months later

Davina's pov

"what about this dress?" Rebekah asks holding out a white wedding dress in front of me "no it's too puffy" I say she nods in agreement and puts it back. For the last five months me and Kol have been planning our wedding with the help of his mother and siblings while his father has been sorting out security for the wedding to prevent any potential wedding crashers from getting inside. Me, Hayley, Rebekah and Cami are wedding dress hunting, looking for the perfect wedding dress for me and we're currently at a wedding dress boutique that's not far away from the Palace.

"How about this one?" Rebekah asks holding up an ivory coloured dress "it's nice but I don't think it will suit me" I say "what's your ideal dream wedding dress?" Cami asks walking into the store followed by Hayley who's holding her and Elijah's three-month old baby daughter Lily. "My ideal dress is cream or white with either sleeves or no sleeves and a bit of a train" I say Rebekah beams "I know just the person who could make the perfect dress for you" she says grabbing my hand and pulling me up making Hayley and Cami giggle. "Follow me ladies we have a dress designer to see" Rebekah says leading me out the store with Hayley and Cami following behind us.

15 minutes later
We arrive at a small house and Rebekah bangs on the door "Caroline open up!" she yells "alright I'm coming quit banging!" I hear someone yell from inside. Rebekah stops banging and the door opens revealing a pretty blonde girl "hi Rebekah what brings you here?" she asks "this girl needs a wedding dress and I know you make some of the best so could you help us?" Rebekah asks pulling me next to her "yes of course come in" Caroline says we all enter the house and I notice her and Cami eye each other wearily before engulfing each other in a hug taking me by surprise "it's so good to see you" Caroline says breaking the hug "you too how've been doing?" Cami asks "great I recently got married" Caroline replies "oh my gosh that's great news I'm so happy for you" Cami says "am I missing something?" I ask "we're 2nd cousins" Caroline says  "not only that but Caroline had a fling with Klaus" Cami says "really? Is it not awkward between you since you're now dating him?" I ask curiously "not at all we're totally cool about it I just had a short lived romance with Klaus that's all he's more like a friend to me now" Caroline says "that's nice" I say they nod "yeah it is now let's short a dress out for you" Caroline says taking my hand and dragging me into a room.

A few hours later after going through material after material, design after design we finally come up with the perfect dress for me.

"it's perfect Kol will love you in it" Cami says looking at the design Caroline drew up "he'll love her without the dress too" Rebekah remarks causing them to burst into a fit of giggles as I glare at them. "Is it the dress you want Davina?" Caroline asks "yes I love it" I say she gives me a beaming smile "great I'll sort out preparations to start making the dress" Caroline says pining the design up on her board "how long will it take to make?" I ask "usually it would take me two to three weeks to make a dress but since you're Prince Kol's fiancee and are about to become a Princess I'll have it made within a week" Caroline explains  "that's great I'll pick it up for her" Rebekah says while I remain quiet as I recall what Caroline said about me becoming a Princess. "D are you alright?" Cami asks concerned "yeah it's just what Caroline said about me becoming a Princess" I say "well you are going to be a Princess" Caroline says "I am since when?" I ask "since you and Kol got engaged it happens to all of us when we get engaged our partners are given the title of Princess or Prince" Rebekah explains "Hayley here was crowned a Princess a month after she married Elijah" Caroline says "I wasn't aware if it" I say timidly "why is it a problem?" Rebekah asks "no it's just I don't think I'm Princess material I'm going to be terrible" I say "that's nonsense you'll make a great Princess trust me" Cami says giving me a kind smile, I nod in return.
