Six days later.......Christmas day

Davina's pov

Today was Christmas day and it's my very first Christmas with Kol as a couple, we're celebrating our first Christmas in Miami as his parents sent us on holiday for two weeks six days ago. Tomorrow is Cami and Klaus's wedding which is being filmed live so me and Kol can watch it which is great because I'm not going to miss it but I do wish I would be there in person to see my friend get married but unfortunately I can't seeing as Kol's parents seem to want us to stay away from New Orleans for some reason.

Anyway as of now it is 12pm in the afternoon, me and Kol woke up at 7 this morning as the baby wouldn't stop kicking me at all last night and I was too excited plus me and Kol had a hot make out session before we took a quick shower and got dressed for the day. We went downstairs to open our presents which his parents and siblings sent us as well as the presents we got each other. Kol got a new watch from Rebekah, two nice button up t-shirts from his mother, some cuff links from his father, a bottle of bourbon from Klaus, a nice suit from Elijah, a book about upcoming fatherhood from Hayley, a new cologne from Henrik and a mystery novel from Cami and from me he got a cheeky pair of boxers which said property of Princess Davina, they were boxers you could have a personal message written on and he chuckled and gave me a flirty look in his eyes when he ripped open the wrapping paper and saw those boxers, anyway I also got him a crime drama novel and a personalized dog tag necklace, I had a cute little message written on the dog tag saying love you always. He loved the presents I bought him and gave me a right big smooch on the lips and it almost turned into another make session but we quickly forced ourselves to pull away as he hadn't given me, my presents at the time. For my presents I got a really cute navy blue dress from Cami, some sexy lacy bras and a really pretty floral patterned dress from Rebekah, a pre-birthing book and a post-natal exercise DVD from Hayley, a lovely pair of diamond earrings from Elijah, perfume from Henrik, two gorgeous lace dresses from Esther, a cooking book from Mikael and a nice sweater from Klaus. From Kol I got a silver heart locket necklace which has a picture of us from our wedding inside, a very skimpy lingerie set which I literally found myself turning red at when I first saw it and a beautiful dress. 

After we opened our presents Kol made us breakfast mine consisted of pancakes with maple syrup and bacon on top with a side of scrambled eggs while he had a full English breakfast. After breakfast we cuddled up in the living room beside the fire and watched a Christmas movie and ended up falling asleep in each others arms. We woke up a few hours later and Kol started making Christmas dinner, a very small Christmas dinner since it's just the two of us.

While Kol took to making Christmas dinner, I decided to do a bit of cleaning as the holiday house we were staying at was getting a little untidy. Mainly down to the fact me and Kol haven't done anything except cuddle, make love and eat but we have left the house of course, just the other day we took a stroll to the nearby park and we watched a movie at the nearby movie theater.

"Davina" Kol calls up to me since I was up stairs straightening out the bed "yes" I reply "dinners ready" he says "alright I'll be down there in a second" I say hurriedly grabbing a lingerie set and hiding it in the bathroom as I have little surprise in store for Kol shortly after dinner. 

I head downstairs to the living room and find Kol lighting candles on the table, I instantly smile at the scene he's scattered rose petals on the floor around the table and he's put a red linen cloth on the table and white Christmas napkins along with little green candles and on the table he's also scattered white rose petals making it look more romantic. I sniff the air catching the smell of the food which smells delicious "hmm smells delicious" I say as I walk over to him, smiling as he pulls up a chair for me "it tastes better than it smells but you taste and smell so much better" he whispers the last part in my ear I whimper and close my legs as the sound of his voice being so close and his hot breath hitting against my ear sends hot shivers through my spine and honestly makes me wet. "Well bring on the food, I'm starving" I say rubbing my stomach as it growls which is followed by a kick from the baby "coming right up my love" he replies walking away into the kitchen and quickly returning with two plates in his hands. He places one in front of me before sitting himself down and placing the other plate down in front of him "looks good" I say as I grab my knife and fork preparing to dig in to my food "all the best for my wife" he replies giving me wink making me blush as I start eating my food.
