One week later....

No one's pov

King Mikael had gathered the media and press to announce the arrival of Princess Nina. For a week after the little girl's birth, the family kept her arrival a secret whilst Prince Kol and Princess Davina got use to parenthood and so the whole family could relish and bond with the little girl before everyone in New Orleans were told of her existence. 

The King had taken a special liking to his new granddaughter after seeing her for the first time. He was happy when his first granddaughter was born but seeing little Nina in the arms of his son who was once a troubled and reckless young man did something to him. King Mikael had even held Nina a few times, more than he had with Princess Lily which some would think Elijah and Hayley disliked but they didn't seem to have too much of an issue with it. All of Kol's brothers were in awe of Nina, even Marcel was in awe of her and they had all quickly become protective over her. Lily who was nearly 1 years old was in total of awe of her baby cousin, she thought it was great that there was another little person in the house as she seemed to be intimidated by how many tall people there were and she didn't like being the smallest person. 

King Mikael smiled as the media and press people stood in front of him waiting for him to announce the news he had for them. "So I've called you all here today to make a very important announcement. I'm proud to announce that a week ago my daughter in law Princess Davina gave birth" he said making everyone gasp. "On February 17th my son Prince Kol and his wife became parents to a beautiful baby girl. I'd like to announce to the world the arrival of the newest family member Princess Nina Olivia Mikaelson" he announced making everyone cheer. A screen that was behind make suddenly turned on and revealed Prince Kol and Princess Davina who had a sleeping Princess Nina in her arms. The two new parents had proud smiles on their faces despite the little bags that were apparent under their eyes from their lack of sleep over the last week. "Hello we're proud to show our little angel Princess Nina to the world. She is the sweetest little baby ever and she's doing very well despite her resistance to not want to go to sleep when mommy and daddy are really tired" Prince Kol said making the press chuckle. Kol looked down at his young wife who adjusted little Nina in her arms as she moved slightly "looks like she's waking up" Davina cooed as the baby girl's eyes opened revealing eyes that matched her fathers. The little girl looked up at her parents and a small smile appeared on her face causing slight dimples to appear on her cheeks making the media and press 'aw' at the sight. The baby girl was beautiful and looked like an exact replica of her mother. Mikael smiled as Kol and Davina looked down at their baby daughter as she cooed and reached her hand out for her fathers. Mikael quickly had the screen turned off after that to give the parents privacy. "Well now you know the news. You may spread word of the new baby's arrival" he said before exiting the room with a few guards as the media and press people talked talking amongst themselves. It wouldn't take long for the world to know of the new baby Mikaelson's arrival.

Cami's pov

Prince Kol and Princess Davina were completely smitten with their little girl and they knew this was just the start for them. They had so many adventures and challenges ahead of them and they were very prepared for what was to come.

Kol's pov

"The end" I say with a smile as I glance at our three children, Gabriel and Faith are fast asleep while Nina is trying her hardest to fight off sleep. Davina has a soft smile on her face as she runs a hand through Faith's hair. "I think it's time for bed now" she says gently standing up with Faith in her arms. I stand up and gently grab Gabriel "I don't wanna go to sleep mommy" Nina whines rubbing her eyes "Nina you're tired sweetheart, you need sleep" Davina says Nina pouts at her mother "but mommy" she whines trying to give her puppy eyes "no don't give me those eyes. You had your story time and now it's bed time" she says I chuckle as Nina turns to me "daddy can I stay up a tiny bit longer?" she asks giving me puppy eyes "no sweetheart, mommy's right it's time for bed so please don't argue with us. Mommy's really tired" I say pointing to Davina who looks like she's about to fall asleep on the spot. Nina pouts "fine I guess I'll go to bed then" she replies walking out the room. "I'll see to her love, you put Faith to bed and then head straight to our room" I say to Davina who was about to go after Nina "alright" she replies giving me a smile. I give her a kiss on the cheek before she leaves the room. I walk over to Gabriel's bed and pull back his covers and gently lay him down on the bed. I pull the covers up to his chest and tuck him in. I smile as he turns on his side and starts snoring "goodnight my son" I whisper placing a kiss on his forehead before standing up and leaving the room, making sure to turn out the light as I leave.
