The smell of hay and horses filled my nose as Joelle and I walked through the wooden barn doors. "So, what exactly does Hunter want you to look into?" Joelle asked as we walked toward the barn office door.

"He saw that shadow box and I think he wants me to consider getting back into it. Since Cole died he hasn't brought up getting another dog and I don't want to force it." Joelle nodded.

I knocked on the office door and was greeted by a petite blonde woman, "You must be Jenna, I'm Amber." she extended her hand as Joelle introduced herself. "Come grab a seat, let's discuss what you're looking for then we can do a little tour." We sat in the office and I explained to Amber what I was looking for and what I used to do. "Between college and work, riding took a back seat and I eventually stopped when I began travelling with my now fiancee for his work." Amber nodded, "I understand. May I ask what your fiancee does? Will you still be travelling a lot?"

"Well my fiancee is a singer and songwriter - he tours so he wanted me to get back into riding. I am currently sitting at a fork in the road between music or continuing to work at the hospital. It's hard to say at the moment

"We have several clients who are in the industry or have families involved. Our staff are courteous and professional toward everyone". She explained the options and offered to introduce me to a few of the horses she had available to co-lease. "Once you get back to your level of fitness when you were consistent - the rest will be a piece of cake." I nodded in agreement. We spent about thirty minutes touring the facility and meeting some of the horses and the staff.

"Amber, thank you so much for the information. I will discuss it with Hunt and I'll be in touch." We shook hands and Joelle and I made our way back to the car.

"That was a lot of information. I learned so much about you and horses in such a short period of time!" I laughed and started the car. "I'm going to call Hunter quick, but do you want to grab Starbucks?" Joelle nodded as the phone began to ring over the Bluetooth speaker.

"Hey Jen how's it going?"

"Good, Jo and I are just leaving the barn. We are going to grab Starbucks before we go home. When can I expect you home?"

"Might be a bit late. We have a team meeting at three and two songs we are trying to cut."

"Okay, not a worry. Just wanted to check. I love you and will talk to you later"

"Love you too"
