Jimin tapped his foot impatiently, eyes wandering constantly towards the entrance of the café whenever the bell tinkling, his ordered ice-blended drink already half empty on the table.
Today was supposed to be the dreaded day – the day Jin-hyung was going to give him a hand on which gifts suitable for Jungkook.
Not that he really needed one though.
He could just go, survey a bit and buy the one that would attract him at first sight and gone home as soon as possible.
Another thing that Jimin would like to do this alone was because he was just a shy person.
A shy little mochi.
He did not want anyone to know what kind of gift he was going to get for the maknae.
He came out of his reverie when a seat was pulled in front of him. His eyes glanced up and were met with the world-wide handsome guy, smiling down at his blank expression and without wasting time, sat down before him.
"So where are we gonna go today? Have you decided what to give Jungkook?"
"U-um...not yet..." Jimin whispered quietly, sipping down his cold drinks.
"Then, what are we waiting for? Come on!"
Jin abruptly stood up and grabbed Jimin's free wrist, striding to the door.
"Hyung, do you have any in mind?"
Jin turned his head slightly to Jimin and flashed him his famous smile, before answering an of course! and continued his way with Jimin behind him.
They have gone several gift stores and nothing attracted Jimin's sight not until at this one store where they accidentally stumbled upon.
From outside, he could see several cute plushies and without wasting time, he walked inside with Jin cocking an eyebrow at the sudden behavior.
Jimin continued wandering around the store but stopped at a certain area where small animal ceramics were arranged neatly, each of its bodies were painted with writings of the label of months.
Animals eh?
What does Jungkook remind him of...?
Jungkook instantly flashed in his mind.
His brown doe-eyes...
Him scrunching his nose, which made him look so soft...
His cocky smirk whenever he got compliments from his hyungs...
And his wide smile which flashes his white teeth...
Jimin's eyes widened at the realization.
His smile!
It reminds him of a bunny!!!
Jimin leaned more towards the ceramic area and searched for that particular animal. When he found a row of bunnies in pink, he searched for the one with September label on its body.
When he found one, he immediately went to the cashier and demanded her to wrap it up in a small box, which only took several minutes before he went out grinning.
Meanwhile Jin...yes, he did forgot about Jin who was still wandering aimlessly in the store, not knowing the younger already bought the gift.
"That's not fair!!!" Jin huffed, crossing his arms after Jimin went inside the store back and pulled him out of the store, stating that he already bought the gift.
"Well, sorry hyung. But really, later I'll send you the photo of it, okay?" Jimin tried to reassure the older and in the end, had to treat him a piece of cake from the Army café – Jin claimed that he really want to try one so badly but he was too broke to buy one – to which Jimin only rolled his eyes in response.
Now, it's time waiting for the day to arrive...
