I've seen it happen a million times in my dreams.

Thanos, snapping his fingers and half of the population would disappear. Including my friends.

I tried to warn them. But they wouldn't listen.

But the strange thing is that I could never see past the moment when half of the population was gone. I would always wake up.

I push my self off the ground just in time to see Thanos snap his fingers and disappear. Then it was all quiet. Too quiet.

"Steve. . ." A voice breaks the silence.

No. No. It's beginning.

I turn around to see Bucky stumble and fall to the ground in ashes. Steve gets up and kneels where Bucky fell. I know that the other will start to disappear. And so will half of the population. I get up staggering a bit. My body sore from fighting off the outriders. I was on edge. They say that when you wake up from a nightmare or dream, it means that you've died. You always wake up because the brain doesn't know what death is like so it isn't able to show it. I could feel when a person disappeared, it was like a throbbing pain that grew larger with every person. Those who were left regrouped where Cap and I stand.

That's when I heard it. The cries of my brother. I could hear faintly in my head, him begging not to go. That he didn't was to go. I could hear his sobs. Then there was silence. The tears roll down my face.

Then I felt it. The numbing feeling spreading through my body.

"Guys. . ." Everyone looks to me. I look at my hand which starts to break away.

"Kid," Steve comes rushing over to me. I try to step towards him but my legs give out as they too start to disappear. I grip onto the back of Steve's uniform.

"I don't want to go, please, I don't want to leave. Please, please." I beg. the numbness now reaching my torso.

"It's okay kid. It's gonna be okay. You're gonna be fine." Steve tries to reassure me.

"I don't want to go. Please." I sob. The numbness spreads to my chest.

"I'm sorry," I whisper just as things go dark.

There was nothing to stop this from happening.

"Hey kid, you okay?"

I peel open my eyes. Things are still blurry. I see a man that resembles Jesus.

"Jesus?" I ask.

"Try again." My eyesight finally clear and Bucky is standing above me.

"Bucky?" I question.

"The one and only." He chuckles. He helps me. As soon as I'm on my feet I'm tackled back to the floor. Light brown hair is all I can see.

"Peter?" I ask. He nods his head. I quickly wrap my arms around him. We stay like that for a while.

"I thought I would never see you again." He says as he gets up and pulls me off the ground. I take time to look around. An orange-red color is all I see. Aside from people.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"I believe that we are currently inside the soul stone." A voice behind me states. I turn around.

"Then how do we get out?" I ask.

"I have no clue. Someone will have to get us out. Before we fade away." The man tells me.

"Well, looks like we're gonna be waiting a while."
