Chapter Twenty

"Eomma?" Seolmins hand held my cheek as she frowned. "Whas wrong?"

I smiled weakly at her. "Nothing minnie, let's go get ice cream"

Seolmin giggled, jumping up and down as she accepted. I got up and held her hand as we made our way outside where Jonathan had been waiting. He smiled up at me.

"I was thinking about ice cream?" He asked with a broad smile.

I ignored all my worries and smiled, nodding. "We were thinking the same"

"I didn't think you'd mind" Jonathan muttered. "But Jay wanted to tag along... for Seolmin"

I smiled and nodded, looking down at the proposal ring I hadn't had the guts to return to Jay.

"Seolmin-ah" a voice called out.

"Daddy?!" Seolmins smile grew even more as she ran toward Jay with her arms outstretched.

I calmly smiled at the two of them, not feeling as mad as I had been with him months ago.

"Jiyoon" Jay smiled up at me.

I smiled faintly before giving him a slight hug, instead of the kiss he was waiting for. I pecked his cheek lightly before picking Seolmin up from the ground.

"How are you?" Jay asked.

"Fine" I mutter.

"I've decided to take a break from my job" Jay smiled down at me. "To start a family, and watch over you guys"

I smiled a little. "That sounds-" I breathed in heavily, dropping the coldness and trying to revive my feelings from the depth of solitude. "That sounds perfect"

Incould feel Jonathans glare on Jay as Jay grabbed my hand, pulling me along with him.

Well, this is going to be a long day.
