Chapter Twenty Four

"It wasn't much of a secret was it?" Jonathan asked nervously.

"I remember everything, how could you lie to me?!" I yelled. "Where's Jay?"

"I don't know-'

"Where's jay?!" I asked once more. "Stop lying, I know he's still here"

"Fine" Jonathan muttered. "I'll take you to him"

"Jiyoon" Jay muttered. "You probably don't remember how cruel I was with you and the many times I have lied to you and made you cry. But I can truly change, I can change for the both of us, and for that baby in you. Even if he isn't my son, I'll take care of him as if he were my own, I'll give up on my career to settle down with you and our daughter. I want to make you happy, I want to make you proud. I want my daughter to go to school and freely say that I'm her father without having to hide it. I want to love you again, I want you to love me again"

I breathed in heavily, the times he had made me cry, the times he had lied. It all added up to this, him wanting me to forgive him, him wanting to start over.

"I want to start over" I mutter." I want you, and only you. I want us to be a tight family, but I don't think you'll change"

"I will" Jay held my hands, looking deep into my eyes. "I'll change for the both of us, I'll change for Seolmin. and I'll help you remember the love we had, how deeply in love we were with each other. Love don't change"

"Can I trust you?" I asked, making jay hesitate  "Can I trust you to be faithful, and never look at a another women like you look at me?"

"I've slept with many women, true. but I was never satisfied, without you I'm not satisfied. Only you can satisfy me, and I can change for all of us. For this love I have inside of me for you. Please Jiyoon, this time believe me when I ask you to be mine. Believe me when I ask, will you marry me?"

After all the ups and downs we had, after the separations and connections between us. I'm happy to call you my husband, and after all the hardships we've been through, there was meaning to all those fights. There were meaning in every kiss, in every touch, every smile. And to all those meanings, I'll accept being with you. Through hard and worse, through the happiness and hardships. I'll be there for you, and I know I can count on you for being there for me. And to all this, to all our memories I say yes, I will marry you. From the first day we met, until our last breath, I'll love you unconditionally. And that won't ever change, because as many restrictions as there may be, we'll stick by each other. Because love doesn't change for neither of us.

"Do you, Park JaeBeom, take Kim Jiyoon to be your lawfully wedded wife, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do" Jay says firmly, looking deeply into my eyes.

"Do you, Kim Jiyoon, take Park JaeBeom to be your lawfully wedded husband, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do" I say with a smile.

Jay turned to me, a shy smile plastered on his face.

"Now, the exchange of rings" the pastor said with a proud smile.

Jay took in his hand the most gorgeous ring I've seen in all my years of life and held it close to my finger.

"I, Park JaeBeom, give you, Kim Jiyoon, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you."

He looked down at my hand before slipping the ring on my finger, my heart racing as I turn to the cushion holding Jay's ring.

With one shaking hand, I hold the ring gently on Jay's finger.

"I, Kim Jiyoon, give you, Park JaeBeom, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you" I smile like an idiot as I shove the ring up his finger.

"And now, by the power vested in me, I hereby pronounce you. . . husband and wife" The pastor rose his hand, signaling at the two of us. "You may now kiss"

Jay turned to me, almost in disbelief that we finally married. One arm wrapped around my waist and the other held my cheek, he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine, locking the seal.

Everyone yelled and clapped, even little Seolmin who went up to the both of us with a huge smile on her face.

"What did I get myself into" Jay joked as we pulled away.
