Chapter Fifteen

"Take care of her, Jonathan" I furrowed my eyebrows as I glanced back one more time, Jonathan sitting down on the couch with Seolmin in his arms. He smiled before nodding to the door, signaling my leave.

I smiled one last time, looking down at the sleeping girl in his arms. I turned around and closed the door behind me, I took I deep breath before walking towards my car.

My heart was beating violently as if I had ran laps, my palms were sweaty as I sat on a bench in the park. My breaths were uneven as I glance around nervously, I swear I probably look like a crack head right now. I rubbed my forehead and sighed loudly, I was so nervous to finally see him after all this.

And that's when I saw him, his silhouette walking towards me. Eyes cold, eyebrows furrowed and completely serious. I gulped at the sight, losing my train of thought and fucking up my heart beat. I quickly got up to greet him, my foot tripped over the other but I quickly regained my balance. Jay appeared in front of me, hands outstretched to catch me. His serious expression broke into a shy smile.

"Jiyoon," He sighed out. "I've missed you so much"

He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close to him tightly. My small figure and his tall big one made it a perfect fit, our hug warm and fluffy. My arms found their way around his waist, my breath hitched as Jay kissed my neck softly. His breath hitting my neck made me go crazy, my heart beat was unreadable, my breathing stopped.

"Jay" I mutter, I gulp before pulling away. "Hey"

"Jiyoon, I came here to straight up apologize, I was arrogant and drunk that night," His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes showed seriousness, he was really sorry for what I could see. "I swear I didn't mean to hurt you like this, give me another chance"

I hesitated, never saying anything as I just stared down at the ground. Jay held my chin and pushed it slightly up, moving my sight from the ground and into his.

"Please"

"I-"

"Jiyoon?"

I made a full 180° turn and met one of Jonathan's friend, I smiled awkward.

"Hey"

"I thought you would he in the hospital right now, you should be with Seolmin," He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked down at me.

"I was discharged since I was feeling better," I smiled.

"What happened?" Jay patted my shoulder in confused.

"And who are you?" Jake glared over at Jay. "Do you want me to call Jonathan for you?"

I shook my head. "He's my friend"

Jay's smile dropped as he turned to me, I stayed quiet as I stared up at jake.

"Where's Seolmin?"

"At home with Jonathan"

"Who the hell is Seolmin?!" Jay flipped me around. "Jiyoon, what did I miss?"

"The baby, duh" Jake retorted. "since you're her friend I thought you would've known"

"Baby?" Jay turned to me for an explanation, my body went cold as the color of my face drained.

I heaved a breath, I was going to have to tell him. Even if he gets sent to jail, he has to know he's the father. It's the least I could do. I was five months pregnant when I was with him, he'll obviously know if he did the math.

"My baby " I breathed out, the weight of the world lifting from my shoulders. "Seolmin is my child"
