'summer's almost ending dudes'
me and my friends were at the café, again.
it was our thing.

and i think it was her thing too.

dott's. that was the cafés name.

as soon as i saw her walking into the place, my heart skipped a beat.
the whole world stopped. it was just us in it.

she had her hair braided that day.

and that day, i decided i would make a move.
talk to her, get to know her.

'an iced almond milk latte' she asked.
again.

i came up to her for the first time.
i remember what she was wearing.
white crop top and jean shorts.
everything placed perfectly.

or maybe it was my eyes only.
who cares, anyway.

'hey. i'm ethan.'
i smiled, probably looking like a fool.

'hey, ethan. i'm alexis'
she smiled, making me go crazy.

'haven't seen you around that often'
i knew she was new, i just tried not to sound creepy.

'i have seen you.' she chuckled, the cutest chuckle ever.
'i'm new in town. it was great to meet you!'
she said, leaving the place.

'i'll see you around?' i asked, wondering if i could ever talk to her again.

'you will!'
she didn't turn around, and left to god knows where.

that was the day i knew
i had to get to know her.

the fact that she hadn't shared any information with me besides her name..
excited me, and made me wonder, too
