A Beginning and an End?

It was like everything came to a stand still, time just stopped.  All that was remaining was him and I.  Nothing else mattered, suddenly the world revolved around us, even the wind stopped.  I looked at him and our lives flashed before my eyes.  Our beginning, falling in love when we were just kids, not knowing what would happened afterwards.  Then visions came to me, him and I together again, running through the endless forests, laughing and holding one another tight like our lives depended on it.  He was my world, always has been and always will be.

"Brent..."  I started to step forward, not knowing what he was feeling.

"Amelia!"  He took off on a dead run, not caring who was around him.

Even though time was still stopped, I could see the tears running down my sisters face as she was witnessing all this.

As soon as he got close enough, he picked me up and held me in his arms for what seemed like an eternity.  He was crying into my hair as I was smiling and holding him.  He then looked down at me and at that moment I knew we both imprinted on one another.

What I didn't know, during this time, was that two other people were having a similar experience.

Shadow was devastated.  He knew he had lost Amelia.  The moment they came in to the field with everyone else and she looked at him it was over.  But as hurt as he was, he felt something in his heart tug at him.  That's when he saw her.

Leah Clearwater could smell a sweet scent and when she looked over towards the tree line, she found it.  Her eyes locked with Shadows and the process began for them.

Arlo decided to speak, "My Queen we need to resolve this now!"

Amelia, looking over at him, said, "I agree....no crimes have been committed, therefore, Volturi, you are all dismissed."

Arlo, extremely agitated stating, "You cannot be serious, that child will give our secret away, this family cannot be trusted!"

Amelia could feel her blood boiling, suddenly, she was right in front of Arlo and the rest of the Volturi.  Her hand suddenly was around his neck and holding him up in the air, "You need to watch your mouth Arlo, those people over there are my family, every possible outcome ends with your death and most likely by my hands or my sisters, if you do not leave, your blood will be shed."

Arlo then realized it was time to retreat and leave.  

Holding Amelia close to him Brent says, "I love you."

"And I love you!"
