I always wonder where I truly came from. I do not know a lot of my true family history because I was adopted. My adoptive parents Charlie Swan and Renee Swan have told me little about my biological parents, but I am not sure they really know more...
"I know you feel different because you are different dear."
"I didn't say anything."
"I read your thoughts, you said you feel different, just so you know the world as you knew it, has changed."
"Who are you?" "Why did you take me from my home?" I could see his features, he was tall, pale and had long black hair. He had an accent, but I could not place it. Something seemed really familiar about him.
"Darling, is this her, she is absolutely gorgeous!" I hear as I turn around to see a young woman just a few years older than I, she was very pretty, pale but had an amazing figure.
"Mia, my darling, this is Amelia."
"Amelia, this is my wife Mia."
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance I am sure." "You still havent told me who you are sir?"
"Amelia, before I tell you who I am, what are you feeling right now?" "Are you scared?"
"Scared?" "Strangely, I feel somewhat at peace, like I belong here." "I can sense the littlest things, my sense of smell is tremendous and I feel like I could take on a hundred men."
"You are reborn child!" "I have searched years and years to find you, I lost you once and I vow to never lose you again!" "Your ancestry started here in Transylvania, your father and mother were both very prominent figures and important at that, well your father still is."
"You knew my biological parents?" "Wait, why did you kidnap me?" "I had a life back in forks, people who cared about me, people who I love, oh my god, Bella...Charlie...Brent...Renee..I demand to be taken back!"
"Amelia, you need to know who you really are, what your heritage is, I have a lot of explaining to do, I know this."
"I..." Just as I started to talk, I hear screaming and a rush of people not to far behind from where we are.
"Ahh, dinner has arrived, are you hungry Amelia?"
"Dinner?"
"Yes, Mia dear, do bring in our supper."
As the door opened, a bunch of armed men in long robes came in with a bunch of what looked like tourists.
"Oh my god, (screaming) what is going on?"
"Oh I'm sorry dear, I forgot to mention we are vampires and so are you!"
I wanted to save them, but I was completely terrified and in shock. What was happening? Vampires existed? As I stand there with my back against the wall, I watch this man and woman suck the blood out of these humans. And then it happened...something came over me...the shock I was feeling turned into Anger and the last thing I remember was ripping my clothes from my skin and seeing the full moon shine bright into the castle window.
"Amelia, is that you dear?"
I could hear him talking to me but all I wanted to do was rip him to shreds. I detested him.
"It seems she not only got her beauty from her mother, but also her temper."
How was I able to pin him to the ground? I was a vampire? I was a monster? How did he know all of this?
"You see Amelia, we are family but also natural born enemies by historical standards."
I started to fight him, we tangled back and forth making everything around us break or even shatter.
"I need you to resist this side Amelia, I need you to take your place with me, your father and claim your birthright!"
And so it begins....
