Chapter 8

We got to the pack house.

We walked in and everybody turned to us and stared.

"Who are they?" my dad asked motioning towards Seth, Carter, and Brent. I didn't exactly know what to say.

This is Carter my ex-mate and this is Brent the lunatic who thinks I'm his mate, oh and this is Seth a rouge I found while skipping class?

"This is Carter, Seth, and Brent these are friends from school"

I mean I told the truth, just not all the details.

"Why are you here?"

I couldn't tell him that there are kolides trying to attack us, at least not now. What could I tell them then?

"Give us a moment" I said grabbing Seth's hand. I saw Brent and Carter hold back a growl.

I rolled my eyes and continued going out the door. Once outside I teleported us out of earshot.

"What?!" Seth asked with a confused tone.

"I-I want to tell them you were a rouge" I said looking towards the pack house.

"Natilie I need time just a little bit more" I threw my hands in the air to emphasize my worry.

"well do you have another idea of what to tell them?" He sighed

"fine now can we go?" I grabbed his hand and we were back in front of the pack house.

We walked through the door and all eyes turned to us again.

"Now would you care to tell us why you are here?" He said raising an eyebrow.

"Seth is- I mean was a rouge" My friends gasped as well as everyone else,but not my dad he was fuming.

"WHAT?! AND I LET HIM STAY IN OUR HOUSE?!" I rolled my eyes.

"DAD HE MEANS NO HARM" I shouted louder than him.

"what's all the commotion?" Alpha Drake asked while coming down the stairs.

"My daughter here found a rouge and disrespected my position as beta" My dad said answering Alpha Drakes question.

I rolled my eyes at the fact that he just ratted out his daughter.

"He means no harm nor is he a spy!" I shouted to them. Big mistake.

I was now pinned to the wall gasping for air.

"Never disrespect me again" He snarled at me. I rolled my eyes.

Bigger mistake.

I was now in panic as black dots covered my vision. I teleported to the other side of where we were. Everybody now had a confused look on their faces except my friends of course.

"You little...." he said as he ran towards me.

I pulled up my fingers up and wiggled them, reflexes I guess.

He fell to the ground clutching his head. I quickly stopped.

"I-I'm sorry alpha my adrenalin was pumping and well.." I trailed off.

"wha-what are you?" he asked staring at me.

"a-a kolide" he stared at me blankly then walked towards Seth.

He was scared?

Scared of me?

Is this how I become evil?

"welcome to the pack" he said as he shook Seth's hand.
