"Ok we're recruiting the Silver Moon Pack,the Dark Star Pack,the Blue Moon Midnight Pack, and the Howling Cloud Pack" Alpha Derek boomed."We will be moving to our safe house where we have more rooms and also we will be sharing rooms" We all nodded and went to our rooms to pack our things.Carter followed me since he didn't really have anything.I grabbed a suit case and started piling my things in it.When I finished I zipped up the bag and started to walk out the room."I brought the necklace I got you" Carter dug in his pocket and brought out the moon shaped necklace "Thanks" I grabbed it and but it in my back pocket.I went down the stairs and the pack was already down here."Ok my best fighters will be in wolf form protecting the cars,I will be in the middle in case of a attack,the rest can choose who you go with" I grabbed my bag and threw it into one of the cars and went behind some trees and took off my clothes and transformed.I quickly ran from behind the trees with my clothes in my mouth.I was guarding the last car "What are you doing? you're coming with me" Carter growled out,I didn't take it defensively.I shook my head and the cars took off,Carter jumped in one at the last minute and I kept smelling the air for rogues.We finally get there and I go behind some bushes and change into my clothes.I run and grab my bag and go to the front desk where a blonde girl with grey eyes tells you what room you're staying in."Natilie Burst you're in room...254" I nod and wait for Carter."Carter Moone you're in room...167" He protest to stay with me but he still ends up in room 167."I'm just a floor or two above you" He sighs and gives me a sad smile "Ok fine but I'll see you at dinner right?" I nod my head "now I have to go unpack and meet my roommate or roommates" I hug him and go upstairs to room 254.I open the door and the walls are a pretty creme color and there is a double doored walk in closet and two beds on top of the white carpet.I go to the bed with a light blue bed set that's near the bathroom.The other bed has a dark purple color bed sheet.There's a bar going along the ceiling to the door with a grey sheet that you can't see through at the other end of the bar away from the door,probably to give us privacy if needed.I unpack all my stuff and hang up my clothes in the closet on one side of the caution tape in the middle showing our limit.I go to the bathroom and set down some of my toiletries.I get in the shower and get off the dirt that was on me from when I ran around the car.I wrapped myself in a towel and walked into my new room and grabbed my black shorts and put on a black tank top and put a oversized grey sweater that says I love New York over the tank top.As I slipped on my black converse the door opened,I turned around with a smile on my face.I started laughing and he stared at me like I had a street jacket on,I pointed to the bed and he rubbed a hand down his face "can we switch bed sheets? please?" he asked with a pleading smile.I nodded and held back other laughs "I'm Natilie Burst,I'm in the Dark Cloud Pack and you are?" He smiled and took off the purple sheets "I'm Ashton Malden,I'm in the Howling Cloud Pack" I nod and take off my blue sheets and hand them to him while he hands me the purple ones.I quickly put them on my bed and grab my phone and put it in my back pocket and walk out the room."Hey wait up" Ashton calls after me.I stop and turn around to have a body collide into mine and we both land on the floor.I start to laugh "Get off me ya brick wall" I shout.He smiles and gets off and joins in on my laughing "Sorry I was using my wolf speed and I didn't know you would stop" I nod and continue to walk "What did you want?" I ask remembering him call after me."I wanted to know if you had any rules,like for the room,I didn't know if you were a neat freak or something" I nod "only one,don't touch my stuff" He nodded "do you have any?" he nodded "same as yours" I smile and walk to the kitchen on the last floor or the lobby.I grab a pancake and pile some bacon on my plate plus some sausage.I piled syrup and whip cream on my pancake and headed up the stairs back to my room and sat on my bed and turned on the large tv in the middle of the room.Ashton walked in and groaned but kept silent and ate his breakfast."So...what's your pack like?" Ashton asked trying to start up a conversation "They're amazing but they're not my original pack" I sighed and ate my pancake "oh so who was?" I hold a tear back "The Blue Moon Midnight Pack" He gives me a sad smile "There lost" I smiled back at him "Thanks" The door opens and Carter walks in "you settled in?" I nod and look at Ashton with an awkward stare."Ok I'll...." he sniffs the air and turns around and growls."Who's this?" I roll my eyes "Ashton Malden" He growls again "Why's he here?" I sigh "He's my roommate" Carter growls again "Why do I smell him on you?" I look down at my thumbs then back to him "He fell on me" I say sheepishly.Carter growls louder "you're mine remember that" I growl back at him "I'm not a possession" He grabs me and pushes me to the wall "I love you" I stay there shocked at his words.Was I in love with him? I didn't know.I gulped and he kissed me,I quickly kissed him back.I jerked back remembering that Ashton was in the room."Sorry if this was....awkward" I say sheepishly.He nods and walks to the bathroom.I get out of Carter's grip and walk to the bathroom and open the door and lock it.Carter growls "leave please I'll be downstairs in a little bit ok?" "ok" and I hear his footsteps and the door slam shut."What's wrong?" He looks at me then to the floor "nothing" I chuckle "seriously come on,what's wrong?" He gives a sad smile "I-I lost my mate" He tears up and I bring him into a hug."It's ok,what happened?" Tears fell from his eyes "She was a rouge and when I found her she wanted to leave her rouge ways behind but the night she planned on leaving the pack.....they killed her and left her body at the border with a note saying that I was the fault of her death" I was crying along with him."I-I'm so sorry I wish I could do something b-but I can't" He sobbed in to my shoulder and I sobbed into his."Maybe the moon goddess will give you a second chance mate" He shook his head "I've been hoping so but I don't know anymore" I give him a sad smile "I hope you do" He smiles "Thanks,I really do feel good about getting this off my shoulders" I smile "lets go out to the park,I'll bring Carter and maybe we'll find your mate" he smiles excitedly at me "ok" I grab his hand and lead him down the stairs and find Carter."Carter,Ashton's coming with you and me to the park" Carter nods and yanks the hand that was holding Ashton's and puts it in his.I roll my eyes and grab Ashton's hand with the other.I go behind some trees and transform and put my clothes in my mouth and run out to see Carter's beautiful wolf and Ashton's,I shook my head and focused on running and tried to clear my mind,I heard my wolf crying 'what's wrong?' she sniffled 'why did you forgive him so easily?' I snorted 'shouldn't you be happy?' she mentally shook her head 'well I am but he shouldn't have it so easy we need to make him work for us' I started mentally laughing 'ok I'll make it less easy deal?' 'deal' I smiled and ran into a tree,I groaned and shook my head I went behind some trees and transformed and changed into my clothes.I walked out and noticed that we were already here.I grab Ashton's hand and lead him all around the park but he didn't find 'her' I grabbed Carter's hand when we got to the house and pulled him out of earshot "I want us to be friends" His eyebrows furrowed together "what do you mean?" I shrugged and started playing with my hands "me and my wolf have been talking and we think it would be better if we start off as friends" Carter growled "I told you I love you and now you want us to be friends?" I nodded,he ran his hands threw his hair "fine" with that he stomped up the stairs to his room.I frowned and walked to my room and plopped myself down on my bed and went to sleep.
