Chapter 21

Natilie's POV

My alarm blared as loud as it could get.I stretch my arms and stood up and pressed the snooze button.I got in the shower and used my fruity scented shampoo.When I finished I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around myself.I went to my closet and pulled out a blue tank top.I slipped on my sports bra and tank top,I also put on my black gym shorts that had to lines on each side.I slip on my maroon combat boots.I go back to the bathroom and brush my hair and teeth.I put my hair in a high ponytail and headed out to the training grounds.We only have a few hours to train because Carter told us that Damion plans on attacking us at noon.When I get there barely anyone else is here,I decide to do some stretches while I have some free time.I bend down and try to touch my toes,then I did jumping jacks and some other basic stretches.When I'm done half of the people are here.I sigh and sit in the grass and make a tiny tornado in my hand,I spin it around and then make it vanish into thin air.I use my elemental powers and wrote my name it the air with air.It disappeared and I stood up.All eyes were on me.Was I that occupied? I look at the crowd some look amazed others have confused looks,since they probably didn't know I'm a kolide.I smile and turn to the alpha ready for orders.He stares at me for a second then back to the pack."We will have a 3 day training in 4 hours" he explained."And also for those who don't know,Natilie Burst is a kolide" He said motioning towards me,I smiled at the crowd then turned back to the alpha."We'll start off by running in human form around the territory" he said and we all started running.I was in the front,I could have gone around it 100 times but I decide to not use my powers but was still in the front.We did about 5 laps since the territory was large."Time to do hand to hand combat" he announced."why? we're better in our wolf forms" a voice asked from the back."What if they use wolf bane and your wolf is to weak to fight?" The alpha asked looking dead at the person.He had shaggy blonde hair with green eyes that were a little lighter than mine.He remained silent."now begin" he said and paired with his beta.I walked around and spotted Allison arguing with her brother to let her train."Please" she begged and made the 'e' longer then it should have been."No now go to your room" he said pointing back to the house.Then she sat on the ground and poked out her lip "I'm not moving from this spot" she pouted.He rubbed his hands through his hair."I'll take her inside for you" I said to D.J. he smiled at me "thanks" he said then walked off.I grabbed Allison but she started screaming until I let go of her."how about I train you?" I whisper so low that only she could here me.She smiled at me and nodded her head.I took her hand and led her out of earshot."lets begin with a few stretches" I said and she started to do the basic stretches "done" she giggled out.I chucked at her giggle "Now..run around the pack house 4 times" I told her,she immediately sprinted around the house,but I guess her footsteps were a little loud because the next thing I know D.J. comes stomping towards us with his face red "What are you doing?" he yelled at me.I stood my ground and yelled back "I'm teaching your sister how to fight for herself" He clenched his fist "She'll just get hurt,I'm here to protect her" he growled.I growled back "what if one day you're not there?" He grinds his teeth together "I will" I shake my head "what if you're not? then what's she suppose to do?" I question him.He stops growling "I-I'm sorry I just want to protect her but now I see that's what you wanted to do" he apologizes.I smile back at him "It's ok I understand where you're coming from" I say as I pat his back.He smiles "Well I better go train,be careful" he warns us.I smile then turn back to Allison."Want to go see if any other kids want to train with us?" I ask her.She nods her head,I go inside the pack house and ask all the kids if they want to train they all say yes and we go back outside."I'm going to be your trainer,Natilie Burst" I introduce myself."okay first lets stretch" I say and Allison comes to my side since she already did her stretches.Everybody did their basic stretches "Now run around the pack house 4 times,that means you to Allison" I said and they ran around the house."Ok let's do hand to hand combat" I announce.They look all giddy "I'll pair you up" I said and started pairing people together.Alpha Derek started coming towards me "I see you're helping the children" I nod my head "always have to be prepared" I say and go back to watching the kids and their techniques."Okay kids I'm going to transform into my wolf I'm going to 'attack' you but I'll be going easy ok?" I ask,they nod their heads.I go for a boy no older than 9. He first keeps his distance,then I leap carefully at him. He jumps over me and grabs my tail,I yelp in surprise.He jumps on top of me and screams for help.Everybody starts to laugh but I taught them that they have to hold their attacker and yell for help instead of trying to take them on.I wiggle out of his grip and tilt my head,this is our sign to tell them that they win.He jumped up and down.I 'attacked' all of them and they all passed.I told them to go to the bunker and to not let anyone in except our pack members,the women were also already in there.our whole territory was covered with guards.There was only three girls fighting in this battle.I listened to the pounding of feet as I see them coming.
