Rejection?

Chapter 13

I was furious.This was all a joke to him,a game.I think I was actually falling for him but now I know it was a host.Carter is and always will be a jerk.Why did I have to fall for him.Maybe I should just accept his rejection.No our wolves could vanish I guess I have to do the only thing I know how to do,move on and become new and improved.Carter will regret it all.I was still staring at the ceiling at this point.I decided to get up and stop all the pain.I got up and took a shower when I got out I wrapped myself within my towel and changed into a turquoise colored muscle tee and bleached high waisted shorts and brushed through my long auburn hair and gave it little curls at the end.Maybe I should dye it?No I love my natural hair too much.I wanted to do something new but what? I sighed as I looked for answers as I slipped on my mint colored converse.I changed my eyes to their beautiful blue with pink specks.I threw Carter's necklace in my junk drawer and went back to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.Some of us were skipping school to train but some were still going to prevent suspicion.I put the necklace Brent gave me and the bracelet Mara gave me in my pockets for the party after training for Brent and his mate.I heard a knock on my door and went to answer it to find Carter.I groaned "what do you want?" He flinched at my words "I-I'm sorry Natilie" I snorted "Too late for that" He started walking in but I blocked him from going any further "What do you want?" He sighed "I'm sorry Natilie I really want you just I was so stupid to realize it" I snorted again "well you are stupid but I don't care I gave you a chance and you tried to break me" I said holding back tears."I know but Natilie I really like you heck I might love you!" I looked away for a second then back.This is the new and improved Natilie "I gave you a chance you blew it,you can never earn my complete trust back and n-now I-I h-hate you" he flinched and then he grabbed me "I love you Natilie Burst and nothing can stop that!" he said as he was about to mark me but my reflexes kicked in and he fell to the floor clutching his head I instantly pulled back my fingers "I'm sorry Carter but you blew it now please leave" I said as tears streamed down my face.He got up and left.
