Sitting in the waiting room of the hospital was the most boring thing ever. But I want going to complain as we're hear for a reason. Tessa. The doctors have been so slow in tell us what is happening and I was starting to get impatient. I started pacing up and down. The more I paced the more I got frustrated.
"Ash, sit down. The doctors will tell us something soon." Michael tried reassuring me
"Really? Because we've been here for 3 hours and they haven't told us shit." I practically yelled
"Calm down. She'll be fine."
After he had said that a doctor emerged from the room Tessa was in. He walked up to Michael and I with no emotion on his face.
"So is she going to be okay?" I asked
"Miss Vincent has lost a fair amount of blood. But she will be fine." He stated
"Oh thank God." I breathed
"I have a few questions Mr. Uh..."
"Irwin."
"Right Mr. Irwin. Has Miss Vincent ever had an issue with self harm before."
I was shocked by the question. I had to really think. Did Tessa have an issue with self harm?
"Uh I'm not sure." I answered truthfully
The doctor nodded and flipped through some papers he had.
"You said you found her in the shower, is that correct?"
I nodded. What's he getting at?
"According to the paper I have here a rape kit was used to test if she had been raped."
My eyes widened.
"W-what was the results." I asked shakily not wanting the answer I thought it would be
"She was raped." He said blankly
I just stood there I didnt say anything. I didnt know what to say. I felt angry. I felt sad. I wasnt there for her. She got hurt because I wasnt there.
"We're running samples now on the semen we found. You can see her if you like."
I nodded not being able to get words out. I was still trying to process what I had just heard. What kind of animal would do this?
"Ash did you wanna go see her?" I heard Michael say
I nodded and walked into the room where Tessa was. Her eyes fluttered open slowly as I walked in. I felt tears forming.
"Ash." Her voice barely above a whisper
I sat in the bed, grabbed her hand and kissed it.
"I'm so sorry. Im so fucking sorry u wasnt there." I cried
"Ash it's okay. I'm okay."
"No it's not okay. You were raped by some fucker that is now going to fucking die once I get my hands on him."
"Ashton please calm down." She pleaded
I took a deep breath and as i did i got a text from Luke. I quickly checked it.
To:Ashton
So good news and bad news. Good news is Lucy is asleep, she fell asleep watching my little pony. Uh bad news is...Tessa received a text from a guy named Scott and it said "I enjoyed our little encounter, hope to do it again babe" I dont know who this guy is but maybe hes the reason Tessa is in hospital. I hope shes okay
My blood boiled as I read that. I cant believe that asshole would do such a thing. And why the fuck is he in England? How the fuck did he get here? Then it hit me. Luke mention Arzaylea was texting a guy named Scott. Could they be working together?
"Ashton you okay."
"Scott did this to you didnt he?"
She didnt respond and judging by her lack of response I'd say he did.
"That fucker is gonna pay."
"Ashton."
"No Tessa I'm keeping my word. I'm going to protect you and if it means killing this guy then I wont hesitate." I said leaving the room
Tessa called after me but I kept walking. Michael looked confused as I walked past him.
"Look after Tess." I stated
He didnt say anything. I made my way out of the hospital and caught a taxi back to the hotel. I felt more tears forming but I blinked them back.
Within a few minutes I arrived at the hotel. I made my way up to the room and stormed in grabbing Tessa's phone finding Scott's number and dialing in my phone. I could hear footsteps coming towards me. I turned around and saw Luke and Calum.
"Ashton you right mate." Calum asked
"No I'm not. But Luke you need to text that bitch you've been fucking for the last two weeks and find out what she has with Scott." I angrily said
Luke nodded feeling embarrassed that i said that in front of Calum but I couldn't care less right now. I pressed call on my phone and within a few rings I heard his voice.
"Hello Scott speaking."
"I thought I told you to stay away from them." I spat
"Ashton?"
"Congratulations you win a fucking prize."
"What the fuck do you want?"
"I told you to stay away from my girlfriend but you didnt follow that order, so now I'm gonna bury you six feet under."
I heard him laugh. The fuck is he laughing for.
"Oh Ashton, its funny how you think you can do any damage to me. I can kill you with just one punch."
"We'll see. Tonight 8pm at the back of the hotel."
"I'll see you there."
I hunted up even more furious than I was before. I turned around to see Calum looking completely clueless. He opened is mouth to speak but I shook my head and walked past him. I didnt want to explain the call or anything for that matter. My main focus was getting rid of this guy and protecting my family. I walked into my room and noticed Lucy sleeping peacefully hugging a teddy bear. I sat down next to her and kissed her forehead.
"Daddy will protect you, I promise" I whispered
