Its been 3 hours since Tessa went the doctors with Liz, and so far in that time I've watch 3 episodes of Paw Patrol. Don't judge me okay.I was watching it with Lucy, she seems to love that show, I can sort of see why, it has cute dogs. Anyways Tessa has been gone for 3 hours and I'm getting worried. She hasn't told me why she's gone to the doctors, she just told me she was going. Is she okay? I really hope so. I don't know what I'd do if she wasn't. my thought were interrupted by Lucy's voice.

"Mummy's home." she squealed

I looked away from the TV and saw Tessa walking in looking very pale like she had seen a ghost. She gave Lucy a hug before walking into the bedroom, completing ignoring my presence. I told Lucy to stay in the lounge room while went to see what was wrong with Tessa. When I reached the bedroom she was sitting on the bed crying, I sat next to her an pulled her into a hug.

"Shhh, it's okay baby." I tried reassuring her even though I didn't know what was wrong.

She sobbed softly as I rubbed her shoulder. I kissed her forehead lightly.

"Tess talk to me."

She didnt respond, just wiped tears from her eyes and took a deep breath. She opened her mouth but nothing came out.

"Tess baby, it's okay."

"I dont know if it is Ash." She cried

"What do you mean?"

"If I tell you, you'll leave."

"I'm not leaving you no matter what."

She looked up at me with those glassy brown eyes. Her breathing was slow. She was trying to hold back her tears. What the heck is wrong? She hasn't cheated on me has she? No she would never do that. She breathed in and out.

"Promise me you wont leave." She pleaded

"Tess I promised you this when we got back together and I'm not about to break it. I keep my promises." I reassured her as I cupped her cheek

"Okay...well...." she started off

"Well..."

"I'm...I'm...Pregnant." she said quietly

My eyes widened. Tessa is pregnant. Does she think I'll leave again? I mean I cant blame her, I've left her once but I'm a changed man.

"Ash say something."

I hadn't realised I didnt respond to her announcement.

"Well..."

"Well?"

I couldn't think of what to say, instead I kissed her lips. She seemed surprised but she kissed back. I pulled away and smiled.

"So how how are we gonna tell Lucy?" I asked

"Wait so you're happy?"

"Of course I am. I'm having another baby and this time I'm seeing him grow up."

"Him?" Tessa laughed

"Yeah its gonna be a boy for sure." I said with a big grin

Tessa pushed me off the bed laughing. I like hearing her laugh, its music to my ears. Just as I was about to say something Lucy ran into the room.

"Mummy are you okay? She asked

"Yes Lulu, I'm fine."

"Good."

I looked at Tessa and she looked at me. I knew exactly what to do.

"Hey Lulu how would like a baby brother or sister?" I asked

"I want a baby brother." She said smiling.

"Well you might just get your wish" Tessa replied

Her smiled grew so big you could probably see it from the other side of the world.

"Mummys having a baby?" She asked excitingly

Tessa and I nodded. Lucy squealed in excitement and hugged us both. This moment was perfect. My two girls and my unborn child who is definitely gonna be a boy. It has to be. I'm gonna be the best father i can be. I'm not breaking my promise. Im gonna be there for Tessa throughout this pregnancy. I'm never leaving even if she tells me too, I'll never leave.
