Friday couldn't come quick enough, but it finally arrived. I was a little nervous about how my meeting with Tessa would go down. So many questions ran through my head. Would she forgive me? Will she let me be apart of Lucy's life? Does she still have feelings for me? I highly doubt she does after four years. My feelings for her are still there. I've just tried pushing them away because I was so mad at her. Since we broke up I've never had a steady girlfriend, just a few hook ups. But hopefully I can change things for the better. I looked at the time, it was 9am. Shower time I think. That being said I grabbed my towel, stripped down and hopped into the nice warm shower.

Calum

Only ten hours until my date with Jake. I'm freaking out. What if he's only playing? What if he's an asshole? Goddammit why do I question everything? As I was in my own little world freaking out I noticed Ashton come out of the shower with no shirt only a towel wrapped around him. I must admit he looked hot. I did however have a crush on him back in the day but he told me he's straight and I'm cool with that. He's been so supportive since he found out I was gay and he's even helped me hook up with some guys, even scoring a date with Jake.

"Hey Cal. What's up." I heard my little blonde friend say.

I glanced over to my left and noticed Luke sitting down next me.

"Nothing much. You." I causally replied

"Nothing exciting. Mikey went to the recording studio cause Delta Goodrem was there recording her new album."

"Ah I see. He loves Delta, doesn't he."

"Yup. He said and I quote 'I will marry Delta Goodrem and we will have beautiful babies'" Luke did his best impersonation of Mikey.

I laughed "Good impression."

"I know right." Luke chuckled

Luke and I kept chatting away and at some point Ashton emerged from out of nowhere. He was dressed up nicely for some reason.

"Oooh does Mr Ashton Irwin have a date does he?" Luke exclaimed

Ashton glared at us. He didn't seem to like Luke's comment.

"No. I'm just going to meet an old friend." He said somewhat irritated

Luke nodded in reply. He could tell he pissed of Ashton. But how? All he did was make a comment about him going a a date. Come to think of it ever since we did the shopping a few days ago Ashton has been a little distant and moody. Maybe it's got something to do with that girl and the kid that bumped into him. The girl did look familiar from what saw when I came back from the lolly aisle. Wait a minute, I think I may know who this girl is. I decided to get up and follow Ashton to the kitchen where he was pouring himself a glass of juice.

"Are you going to meet up with that girl from the store." I quietly asked

He nodded as he took a sip from his juice. He didn't say anything for a few seconds. It was kinda awkward.

"It was Tessa." He finally spoke

"Tessa? As in Tessa Vincent, the girl you broke up with for reasons you haven't explained." I questioned

He nodded. I knew that girl was Tessa. But who was the kid?

"What ever happend between you two?"

Ashton opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. He shook his head and started to walk out the kitchen. Normally he would tell me everything that's going on. Something isn't right. And I still want to know who that kid was.

"Hey Ash, before you go, who was the kid with Tessa." I reluctantly asked

He stopped by the kitchen door.

"Her daughter." He said with no emotion.

He then walked off leaving me in the kitchen with this new information. Tessa has a daughter. Who's the father? Now I have to find out.

Ashton

I checked my phone for what seemed to be the umpteenth time. 11:50. Tessa should be here soon. I'm so nervous, more nervous than I've ever been. I haven't been to this restaurant since forever and now I'm back here meeting my ex. Its so hot in here. Fuck I'm sweating. I glanced around frantically until I saw her walking slowly over to me. My heart started pounding so hard that I thought it would fall out of my chest. She reluctantly took a seat in front of me. She didn't seem to want to be here. I wouldn't blame her.

"So. What do you want to say?" She spoke breaking the awkward tension that had occurred.

"I uh...Just want to say I'm sorry for what I did. I know saying sorry won't help the fact that I left you pregnant and alone." I nervously said

"You made me choose between the baby and you, Ashton. That hurt because I thought you would be happy. Instead you acuse me of ruining your career. How's that going by the way?" She snapped

"Its fine. Look Tessa I know what I did and I've regreted it ever since. I was an asshole...."

"Yeah you were." She interrupted

I sighed and had to think of what to say next as she was pissed off.

"I just want a second chance. As friends. I want to fix the mistake I made and be apart of Lucy's life if you'll let me."

Tessa blinked a few times, then looked down at her hands. She always did that when she would think about big decisions. We both sat in awkward silence. She breathed in and out then finally looked up at me with those chocolate brown eyes. She still didn't say anything for about 20 seconds.

"If I was to let you into Lucy's life and back into mine, would you promise to me that you won't be an asshole again." She finally said

"Cross my heart, hope to die." I replied

Tessa nodded.

"Shall we get some lunch then since we're here?" She asked

I nodded and we both looked at the menu and just as I remembered the prices of the food was fucking expensive. But I wasn't too worried since I have alot of money. We ordered our food and ate it silence when it arrived. I needed to break this silence somehow. I hated it.

"So uh does Lucy know about me?" I asked quietly

"No." Tessa simply said whilst taking a sip from her water.

"Are you going to tell her about me?"

"Well I'm gonna have to won't I." I said annoyed

I nodded in response. She obviously didn't want to continue this conversation. I understood why. Seeing your ex after four years after he left you because he was an arrogant ass. I feel so sorry for how I treated her. She deserves better.

After we had lunch we said our goodbyes. No hugs. Just and a awkward handshake. At least she came and met up with me. At least Lucy can know who I am.
