Thirty Nine

Tessa

"I cant push anymore." I screamed

"Yes you can Tess. Now push" my mother encouraged me

I've been in labour for almost 20 hours. These babies wont come out. I feel weak. I can't do this. I just cant. It hurts too much.

Ashton

Finally the plane lands in Australia. I pushed past everyone with my carry on luggage since that's all I brought and I rushed to the taxi rank, I jumped into the first cab I saw. I gave him the location of the hospital and he drove as fast as he could. I hope to go I havent missed this.

To: Sarah
On my way. Did I miss anything????

To:Ashton
Not yet but hurry.

To: Sarah
I'm almost there

The taxi pulled up at the hospital, u quickly paid him the money and ran straight into the building. I found my way to reception.

"Hi...I need to see Tessa Vincent, shes in labour." I breathed

"And you are?" The receptionist asked

"I'm her boyfriend. What room is she in?"

"Room 321. Floor 5"

I said my thanks and made my way up to the room. I knew I was close because I could hear Tessa screaming and I spotted her mum. I rushed into the room and held Tessa's hand. She smiled briefly.

"I'm here baby, now push."

Tessa pushed as hard as she could until we heard a cry. One baby out. Tessa pushed again and within a few minutes another cry was heard. Both babies out. The doctors handed me the first born which was a boy and Tessa had the second born. A girl. They were so cute and they were mine. I didnt miss their birth. I made it just in time.

"They're beautiful." Sarah exclaimed

"Just like their mother."

Tessa smiled weakly. This is the most perfect moment I've ever had.

"Have you thought of any names?"

"Yes. Tia Jane Irwin for the girl?" Tessa smiled as she spoke.

I could see the tears in her mothers eyes. I knew what they were for. Tia Jane was Tessa twin sister that passed away and now her name lives on in a beautiful girl.

"And this is Fletcher Maxwell Irwin." I said as I looked into my son's eyes.

Next day

It's been 24 hours since Tia and Fletch were born. Tessa and I couldn't be happier, even Lucy is happy. Mainly because she has a baby brother but shes also happy she has baby sister. I'm happy that I have my own little family. I decided to text the boys pictures.

I smile the biggest smile I've ever smiled in my life. This is the happiest day of my life so far. I looked over at Tessa, she was sleeping so peacefully and the twins were sleeping peacefully in their beds provided. Well one was. Tia was sleeping as Fletch was wide awake. I walked over to him and picked him up. He looked up at me with those big brown eyes. I couldn't hide my smile.

"Hey buddy, what are you doing awake? You should be sleeping like your mummy and sister."

Fletch made some weird noises. They were weird to me because I've never been around a baby before.

"I promise I'll protect you and your sisters forever. I love you Fletch."

I kissed his forehead and then gently rocked him back to sleep. I still cant believe I'm a father of three beautiful children and this time I'm gonna be in their lives. I'm not missing a thing.

Calum

"Thank you Ireland, it was a pleasure playing for you!" I shouted over the screaming fans

"We'll see you guys next time" Luke shouted

"WE LOVE YOU!!" Mikey practically screamed

The fans screamed louder as we walked off stage. I was sweating so much, that my t shirt was drenched. But I didnt care, I was just so happy to play for the fans. I've missed it so much. It's not the same without Ashton. Management wasnt happy about him leaving all of a sudden. But they understood why he left. So while hes gone we've had a replacement drummer. He isnt as cool as Ashton but hes alright. Anyways as we left the venue, Mikey fell asleep in the car, he was so tired. We all were. Luke was just scrolling through his phone, probably Twitter. And me well I was just thinking about how my wedding would be like. So far we've decided on the date which is January 20th and the location will be on a beach in L.A, the very same beach where Jake and I had our first official date. I've chosen Ashton as my best man and Jake has Luke as his. Not sure how that'll go but we'll see. I'm just so excited. My thoughts were interrupted by Luke yelling, I snapped my head towards him and all I saw was a truck heading towards us. My eyes widen. This truck was speeding and we weren't moving. Why? I quickly looked at the driver. No where to be seen? We were parked somewhere. Luke had crawled into the drivers seats but as he did the truck hit us. My vision went blurry then black. All I remember was Luke yelling out my name.
